The history of Przystanek Tleń is as long and complicated as the history of our country. The place must have outstanding karma - because the inn here still remembers Napoleon. The foundation stone for the present building, during the Prussian partition, in 1902, was probably laid by Hermann Schauer. During the Second Polish Republic, Bernard Radtke and his wife Halina were the hosts. There were motorboat trips around the Żurski Lagoon, dancing under the stars and the most famous trout in the province. After the war, nationalization followed, and with it, there were rooms for rent, a restaurant full of guests hungry for trout, and a beer bottling plant from the Grudziądz brewery. Our family has been here since 2004. There used to be Samotnia nad Wdą here, but since we started our own brewery and an interesting restaurant, there is no loneliness. There is Przystanek, however, a moment to catch your breath between one journey and another, between the volcano and the forest, and between the seasons of a good cooking series. Przystanek is like a typical stop, on the edge of the road that Napoleon himself travelled to Moscow, between villages in the Tuchola Forest, where people stumble over mushrooms and fresh air cleans the city's bays. You can see it from a distance because the water is all around and it shows like a mirror what is happening here, who eats, who does not eat and who only drinks. We invite you to Przystanek with oxygen in Tleń, to have a moment to reset and enjoy food and beer that delights the palate. With us, everything is our own, ours, invented under the influence of travel, loudly spoken and realized. You will be accompanied by our sense of taste, our views of the forest and the river, bicycles, murmurs at night, plates during the day and mugs as you wish. Welcome!

Over two years spent travelling around the world have taught us that good stops on the way are as important as adventures and meetings. One where you can stay for a while or longer, recharge your batteries, regenerate, talk, meet interesting people, sleep well and eat well. We have our favourite stops in many parts of the world. Today we created Przystanek ourselves - we hope that it will become a place of pleasant memories and frequent returns for you.

What you should know right away: we are not a lonely island among green forests. We are located in the village of Tleń, right on the river, but also by the road. For many travelers, we may seem like a restaurant on the road to Bory Tucholskie. So here we have a monument, renovated by our family as Samotnia nad Wda, and then renamed Przystanek Tleń and combined into a neat, satisfying triad: a guesthouse, a restaurant and a brewery. We offer at your disposal: - Standard rooms, named after the distant lands we visited (Sri Lanka, Australia, Cambodia, Zanzibar, Argentina, Nepal, Tanzania, India) These are rooms for two people, some with the possibility of an extra bed. From most of them, from the balcony you can watch the forest or listen to the night owl roar.) - Superior Rooms (Mexico and Thailand) Recently refurbished, we are proud of them. For this fabulous view of the Lagoon and the whole Tleń. - Twin / Double rooms with a terrace, named after other distant lands we've been to (China, Alaska, Japan, Morocco, Venice, Ethiopia). From the large terraces of these rooms there is a view of the Żurski Lagoon. - Kenya apartment with a bedroom and a living room and a terrace overlooking the Zalew Żurski from the street and the river. It's big enough to write a book about Africa at your desk, staring at the water. If your throat is dry, we invite you downstairs to the brewery. - Single room. Timidly last but helpful for someone looking to completely reset the odometer.

This place was known for trout already in the interwar period. We are crazy about food and we are not going to cure ourselves of it. In 2014, brewing became a passion for this passion, there were vats installed here and we brew beer with power. Stormy, with emotions and quite a good result. Everything here is bubbling thanks to the brewery. The breakfasts are fascinating, the lunches are delicious and the dinners are epic. All it takes is a little of our bread, black as volcanic earth, a little parsley pesto and garlic and you think to drop it all and go to Bory. We give kids dumplings for which they keep silent, and adults get something that they did not expect at all during their stop on the route. So there are waffles, there are black pudding in tempura and panko, there are trouts, sturgeons, zander, some buckwheat and goose stomachs cooked in pils beer. And for dessert, creme brulee made of millet, because this is also possible and despite its obvious health - it affects the brain's emission of serotonin. So yes - we offer meals.

Instead of Bora Bora - Bory Bory Tucholskie. There are so many routes here that the Wigry 3, forgotten in the cellars, decompose on their own. The bicycle routes in Bory are amazing, they circle between the lakes, park with smoked sows, and sometimes they sink into the sand spectacularly. Overall, however, they cheer. And that's it. In addition to bicycles, it is worth considering: - Wda canoeing Almost 200 km of the river, in our section quite easy, because the current moves the oar itself. We have been using one proven company for years, we will help you organize a kayaking trip. One-day trips: Stara Rzeka - Tleń, about 3 hours Błędno - Tleń about 5 - 6h Łuby - Tleń about 9-10h - Nordic walking We have several routes here - the easy ones, the more difficult ones, but the picturesque ones, so kneel down nations. The first of them, despite the name, does not lead to "To Hell", because it is just 3.3 km long and is for beginners. The "Stara Rzeka", 13 km long, is another thing, so you can get sore ribs. There are also some other nice routes in Tleń, colored cheerfully depending on the difficulty level. We have poles in stock, we will gladly borrow them, we also have instructions for the uncertain. - Horse Riding Bory is a good place to love horses, get used to them and learn to ride. We have many good nurseries and studs here. Ask - we will help. - mushroom picking If you know something about Bory Tucholskie, you probably know that mushrooms are as intrusive as an advertisement for Mango teleshopping. We don't hold it against them, we stumble, we've been collecting the greatest specimens since June, sometimes with the status of a social media star. For lovers of Mr. Samochodzik, there are several points worth visiting. Nienacki himself knew about it too, because Tleń included it in one of his books. For example: the unique water aqueduct in Fojutowo, Kamienne Kręgi in Odry, Bunker and the village of Stara Rzeka. Ask - we will tell you on the spot.

Doskonały hotelik z urokliwymi i klimatycznymi pokojami o niebanalnym wystroju, z przyjazną i bardzo miłą atmosferą kreowaną przez bardzo sympatyczną obsługę. Doskonałe jedzenie o niepowtarzalnych: kompozycji i smakach! Aktywne lenistwo w rytmie slow ładujące akumulatory życiowej energii oraz zapewniające błogie szczęście bez zegarka, także dzięki przepięknej okolicy i wielu możliwościach wypoczynku aktywnego (choć spływ Wdą możliwy prawie bez machnięcia wiosłem kajaka... co też nasila poczucie lenistwa slow..)

Bardzo dobre jedzenie, obsługa przywitała nas miło i bez problemu załatwiali wszelkie sprawy. Super okolica, duży las do spacerowania.
