Jasielówka

In a house surrounded by wood, the ceiling beams date back to 1932, and relationships develop quite naturally. Above us there is a migration route of birds from north to south, in front of us there are bicycle trails, a crystal clear river winds, and the water from the well is almost spring-like. Sometimes foggy, often sunny, snowy, dark, red with hawthorn and rainy landscapes you can admire from the veranda. This is where the magic happens. Dancing, relaxation, morning coffee and evening discussions. After crossing the threshold of Jasielówka, a different story takes place. One whose cast includes Polish painters, yogis, Krakow natives and warm people from all over the country. There are four comfortable four-person rooms with bathrooms for guests, a living room with a view of the garden, a dining room with a fireplace, a room for physical activities and an idyllic veranda. There is also a blue and black kitchen for guests, a large library and a children's corner. It's cozy here, so fans of Scandinavian climates will be enchanted. We celebrate the simplicity of life and decor, although some rooms may surprise you with patterned wallpapers by our friends, wooden sculptures by Polish artists and paintings with sacred themes. There are 5 4-person rooms and Chatka Mokoszka (max 6 people) at your disposal. Forest Room 4 people • 2 beds • 1 private bathroom Bedroom with double bed and bunk bed. Lovers of the forest and colorful wallpapers will feel good here... East Room 4 people • 2 beds • 1 private bathroom A wooden bedroom with a double sofa bed and two single beds that can be arranged in any configuration. Galician Peace 4 people • 2 beds • 1 private bathroom A bedroom with local works of art and those found at flea markets with four single beds that can be arranged in any configuration. South Room 4 people 2 beds 1 private bathroom Chatka Mokoszka Maximum 6 people. On the ground floor there is a living room with a kitchen, a table and a sofa bed. In the attic there are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and a single bed, the other with a double bed. Very comfortable and intimate. Breakfasts are charged extra. In the riverside garden we have a sauna and a hot tub! We invite you to free sessions :)

We eat vegetarian. We serve breakfast and warm dinner. We serve vegetarian local cuisine, based on local products. Eggs and cheese from Mrs. Miecia. Milk and bundz from Mrs. Władysława. Butter and pickled mushrooms from Mrs. Grażyna. Bread from the local bakery, which still uses the old methods of preparation and baking. We make jams and silage ourselves or take them from a friendly organic farm. And please, on the table, there is the beloved white bean paste, red bean paste, jars with preserves, jams and pumpkin ketchup. In short, no one will be hungry. Breakfast in Jasielówka is smoked cheese and bundz from Mr. Wieśek, butter and scrambled eggs from Mrs. Miecia, preserves from Ania, bread traditionally baked in a bakery in Jasło, vegetables from Dukla. Everything is served in our dining room to the accompaniment of singing birds or sparkling fire in the fireplace.

The house is adjacent to the river, forest and beautiful mountain meadows. You can wander and discover the local nature all day long. You can walk for 5 hours and meet 5 people on your way, and this is still a good result because you normally don't meet anyone. There are beautiful bike trails, and in winter the paths are prepared for cross-country skis. You can splash in a crystal clear mountain stream, light a fire, read a book from our great collection. The pre-war resorts are only 20 minutes away: Rymanów Zdrój and Iwonicz Zdrój - they are still teeming with life and have countless types of mineral waters. In the area there is also Bóbrka - the oldest oil mine in the world, a bit closer to the Lemko Museum in Zyndranowa. We are only 5 km away from the Slovak border, and not far behind it is the surprisingly rich in collections Andy Warhol Museum and the village from which the artist's family came. A trip to Slovakia from us takes about 20 minutes. You can go spontaneously to Udoli Smrti, or Death Valley. This is the place where the Czechoslovak and Soviet troops clashed with the Wehrmacht troops in blood. The remnant of this action is a strange image of tanks scattered across the fields, surrounded by unspoiled greenery. Interesting view, interesting experience. The stone towering over the area impresses with its variety of terrain. Kamień, formerly the Bieszczady Mountains, is a mountain with two peaks, around which the area of a strict reserve stretches. The flat top is covered with an old beech forest. On the slopes of the mountain you will encounter springs, streams, swamps, landslide lakes, caves, but also the remains of human activities; stone trenches, roads, workings. Walks, both independent and those with sticks, are even recommended.
