Lawendowy Winiec

It will be intimate, at home in a log. We only have 5 rooms, each room has a view of the forest or lake. We are able to provide our guests with 15 beds in the following rooms: - three 2-person rooms with a lake view; - one room for 3-4 people with a view of the forest; - one room for 4-5 persons with a balcony and a view of the forest and the lake. All rooms are spacious and bright with bathrooms. There is a fridge on the first floor. On the ground floor of the house we have an approximately 50-meter living room with a fireplace and audio-visual equipment, which is a common area for use by all our guests. You can meet there, sit in silence with a book by the fireplace, play games, watch TV, as well as organize occasional, larger meetings, and conduct business training. One of the favorite places of our guests is the spacious, wooden dining room. It is the sunniest room in the guesthouse, with a panoramic view of the lake, where you can enjoy your morning coffee. There is a spacious terrace outside the house, where you can enjoy a siesta on hot summer days, watching the lake and the surrounding forests. The entire house is non-smoking.

In Lavender Winiec, we cook to the fullest. We practice ancient recipes from this area, we have a personal relationship with the old Masurian tiled kitchen. We serve traditional and vegetarian dishes: breakfasts, rolls, dumplings, cheeses, salads and all the comfort food we know, i.e. food that makes the soul smile and relaxes the whole body. We eat all this with passion in a wooden, glazed dining room, which blends beautifully with the food. Breakfast is included in the price. At the request of guests, we will prepare dinners.

We have lavender around here, forests and a great lake with swimming equipment. Thanks to the connection of Lake Bartężek - the Duckie Canal built by the Germans - with Lake Ruda Woda, you can go canoeing from our pier to Małdyty, and from there through the famous Ostróda-Elbląg Canal straight ... to the sea (approx. 80 km of water route). You can also head south and through the lock in Miłomłyn and Ostróda you can sail to Iława on the waters of the longest lake in Poland - Jeziorak. In short, a sailing paradise! In addition, the record for the daily catch from our pier is still waiting to be beaten - that is 33 fish, as well as the size of the pike caught here (52 cm long). Anglers will be delighted with the variety of fish species and their good looks. Just behind the fence of the Lavender Winiec there is a huge forest complex, where the encounter of roe deer, deer or wild boar happens really often, and the sight of hawks and buzzards circling low above the ground is not surprising here. They do not mention the ubiquitous storks in this area. If you are lucky, you can also see the white-tailed eagle reigning among the birds of this area. On the other hand, in autumn, during mushroom picking, you have to go to the forest with large baskets to be able to collect all the porcini mushrooms, porcini mushrooms, geese, honey mushrooms and butterflies. Beautiful bicycle routes of varying length and difficulty ("Tuscan" hills around Winiec) are one of the greatest attractions of our area, which is also complemented by a nearby friendly horse riding center. The amateurs of Nordic walking and hiking should also be fully satisfied. In winter, all you need to do is choose whether you want to go skiing, go for a sleigh ride or a dog sled ride or go ice skating, and take part in a sleigh ride organized by us with a bonfire. When Lake Bartężek is covered with a thick layer of ice, numerous anglers drill holes in it.
