If someone asks "What on earth can you do in Racibórz?", Villa Antiqua is the first place to go for information. The second is a cosy room in our Bed & Breakfast, a few kilometres from the historic city centre, among fields, meadows and the Oder River. The idea was simple - to create a "home away from home". That is why we found an old farm, and on its foundations, we built an atmospheric guesthouse full of references to history, even the recent one. We have woven a lot of Scandinavian and rustic elements into the interior. There is an old workshop cabinet, a Scandinavian-style armchair, but also lamps made of milk cans or buckets. We invite you to the garden in summer, to the living room with a fireplace in winter, for morning coffee on the terrace, for wine in the evening with a board of local cheeses, for dessert at any time. We will wait.

Here Slowhop will describe your place

Since 2013, I have been creating a place made of dreams and passion. The three words REST NATURE WINE perfectly reflect the idea of the Villa. Leisure in the city, but among nature. I love everything that is natural, consistent and harmonized with the local heritage. I am responsible for the selection of wine to offer, which gives me great joy, because wine is my passion, especially combining it with food. I am open to continuous development and exploration, that's why Villa changes with my new ideas. I invite you to my world.

Our villa has 9 double rooms with bathrooms. Each of them is slightly different, although they all share a similar color scheme. There is no good guesthouse without a peaceful sleep, so the room has a bed with a comfortable mattress and crisp white cotton bedding. Each room also has a TV and wireless Internet access. The bathroom is equipped with a spacious shower, hairdryer and towels. Our rooms are not huge but their cosiness makes up for it. In 3 rooms we can add an extra bed and a cot.

The day at the guesthouse begins with breakfast, which we serve as you wish. You can enjoy it in the dining room or in the garden. We change products seasonally and we really carefully check their source. We make sure that as much as possible comes from the surrounding fields and plants. We bake sourdough grain bread ourselves, and many other products, including jams, granola and hummus, which guests like. There is no joking about your morning coffee. There is good grain and a good coffee machine. On request, we will prepare something for a specific diet, please only inform us in advance. At noon, you can drink coffee or tea in the garden and eat home-made cake. In the afternoons, we serve stews. Often soups, stews, stews, also vegan. We work with local cheese producers. You can order a board of local cow and goat cheeses that go perfectly with the wine. Our over a hundred-year-old wine cellar is well stocked, and apparently beer from such a cellar tastes best;) The most important bourgeois privilege in our city was brewing beer. We don't brew, but we know what's good ...

Villa Antiqua has a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for reading and lazing around. Active people will rent a bike for free and run around the area, lovers of riddles and secrets will discover a lot of them in Racibórz, supporters of leisurely walks will leave really satisfied. Racibórz itself is a mine of knowledge about medieval history. Mieszko Laskonogi started, and then it got better and better. In the 19th century, the city was known for the production of cigars, sweets and the distribution of Tokaj. Since then, wanderers have almost stumbled over the preserved legends and places. In the city with 800 years of municipal rights, there is a charming market, sacred luxuries, old walls with a Tower, the 14th century Dominican Sisters' convent and the Piast Castle with a castle chapel called the Silesian Saint-Chapelle. Racibórz has many natural attractions: Arboretum of the Moravian Gate, Łężczok Reserve and others. We are also an ideal starting point to the surrounding Czech Republic, because the nearest border is only 12 km away.

Atmosfera sprzyjająca relaksowi, czysto i sielsko,z pysznym śniadaniem i kawą. Miła obsługa, przyjemne pokoje i wystrój budynku.

Uwielbiam jesień i to miejsce szczególne pasuje mi do jesieni. Jest ciepło i przytulnie, pokoje przyjemne, czyste, bez przesadnych detali, ale jest wszystko co potrzebne. Obsługa miła i pomocna, pyszne śniadania i wino.
