The history of our family in this place dates back to 1975, when Tata-Tadek, as a young forester, decided to take under his care the forests and areas of the Chochołowska valley, with which he had been associated for generations. We stayed in a house that quickly became a place welcoming everyone who loves the mountains.
My father passed on his love for the Tatra nature to all of us, but especially to his two sons. Until now, Dad, Filip and Antek are involved in nature conservation in the Tatra Mountains.
In 1991, the female part of the family - Mama-Marysia, Zosia and Karolina - decided to create a cozy guesthouse called "Leśniczówka u Zięby" in the forester's lodge. And it remains so to this day. Girls love to combine styles and what is beautiful, handmade and timeless. That's why in every room you will find a real Persian kilim, an old object, plant graphics, a glass for water from a well, the smell of wood and a view of the mountains or the forest :).
There's always something going on here :). Ask about all parties, events and yoga classes at the reception. Konrad will help you choose a convenient date to plan your stay. Agnieszka, our wonderful manager, will advise you on how to organize a workshop, a sleigh ride or a bonfire. Her favorite activity is organizing weddings. It can be in the "Leśniczówka" or "Ziębówka", indoors or in the garden, in a boho, minimalist or classic style. Zosia, whose professional path is the most beautiful flower arrangements and wedding decorations, will take care of the artistic setting of the ceremony. We like our fields and meadows the most:).
"Leśniczówka" was loved by Polish actors, singers and writers. It is here that famous pieces of music, poetry and paintings were created. Many have been returning to this place for several decades.
