The Portuguese coast near Peniche ranks as one of the top five surfing beaches in Europe, and is located an hour away from Lisbon. These are just two reasons to visit us, the whole list is much longer. Let's just mention the scent of sun-warmed eucalyptus and resin, stilt tree houses halfway between heaven and earth and wide sandy beaches for those who don't long for rough waves. The icing on the cake is the exceptionally mild climate and the lowest seasonal temperature fluctuations in Portugal: even in July it does not exceed 30 degrees, and in winter rarely goes below 17. In this respect we are very similar to San Francisco, California.

We welcome adrenaline seekers and adventurous people, followers of mindfulness and sustainability, as well as active families with children. Bukubaki glamping consists of 6 tree houses, 19 tents, a bungalow and a shared villa. We offer local food, yoga workshops, meditation sessions and massage therapies, a salt water pool, skate bowl and surfing, yoga and skateboarding school..

Our place consists of 6 tree houses, 1 bungalow, 1 sharing villa and 19 tents. All accommodations are equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating as well as access to kitchenettes and terraces. A bungalow and 2 tents are barrier-free, adapted for guests with disabilities and reduced mobility.

The Resort is surrounded by pine and eucaliptus forest, allowing just enough sunrays to create a magical atmosphere in the daylight, yet uncovering the stars in the beautiful night sky. The distance to the nearest beach is about 5 km, so we recommend coming by car. There are two free parkings to choose: an open park lot inside the resort area and acovered one in front of the resort.

In the kitchen we mix simplicity & genuine flavours with lots of love. At the bar you can find classic & signature cocktails, always seasoned with a hint of well-being. We use products selected from the best of local agriculture & our sea, never forgetting vegetarian & vegan options.
We also create your dream event: weddings, family reunions, corporate dinners and exclusive parties, that have a different "flavour" in our forest.

With amazing views and contact with nature, our location is very near from beaches, Peniche and Baleal. We offer Surf Classes for everyone and Skate lessons on our amazing skate bowl. For those who don't need classes and want to enjoy our activities, we also provide equipment rental. Our bikes are also available for rental. The client's who prefer to relax, can use our Wellness center with massages and sauna. Yoga retreats and yoga classes are also included in our activities. We also have an outdoor pool.

We are sure that kids will have a great time at our resort. In addition to the already mentioned activities such as skateboarding and surfing (we have lessons for the youngest), an outdoor swimming pool, bicycles (for the older ones) and the possibilities offered by the proximity of the sea, we encourage you to use our grounds, which are safe for children and allow for the most beautiful moments in contact with nature.

The closest suitable beach is Baleal. According to traveller's reccommendations, it is a perfect place for sunbathing and digging in the sand with toddlers. The level of water is very flat, so kids can run about in the ankle-deep water.

We ask parents to ensure the safety of their children when using the stairs and attractions throughout their stay at the Eco Resort. We do have cribs for children for free, upon availability.
