Almagruz Caves
Agrotourism
Welcome to Almagruz, the prehistoric Troglodyte settlement in Granada. A cave with the amenities of the 21st century! Here, you can feel like farm workers from centuries ago, but without the hard labor. Instead, there's a fireplace, kitchen, pool, and even Wi-Fi. We must say - it's quite cozy here!
A true treasure trove for history enthusiasts. Though it's also a cave of mysteries. How did they really live, what did they eat, how did they manage without electricity and running water? The complex of 40 niches tempts with secrets. Granaries? Shelters? Dovecotes? Or perhaps a prehistoric spa? Smoke traces on the ceiling? Maybe remnants of a prehistoric barbecue or evidence of the first failed cooking attempt? Or are they remains of a fire? Who knows! You can feel like Sherlock Holmes and spin conspiracy theories to your heart's content.
In Almagruz, you can delve into the mysteries of prehistory or simply master the art of doing absolutely nothing. After all, our ancestors didn’t know the concept of a "deadline," so why should you rush?
