Ca'de Memi
Agrotourism
Pack your bags, leave your diets at home, and get ready for an Italian-style adventure. You know those families with grandpa, great-grandma, uncles, aunts, brothers, and sisters? The cheerful chatter and lively gestures? That’s the home of Memi.
It all started in 1933 when Grandpa Amedeo bought the farm. Since then, the house has been filled with laughter and family warmth. Today in this 20th-century villa, surrounded by fragrant hydrangeas and herbs, Ottorino takes care of the fields while Michela works her magic in the kitchen.
On the lawn, the proud Padovana hen—one of the traditional Venetian breeds—struts about. Chickens are so important here that even the rooms are named: Pulcino (Chick), Gallo (Rooster), and Nido (Nest). Kids, get ready for a real adventure! You might not only meet celebrity chickens but also become official egg collectors!
Inside the house, you'll find a true art gallery à la Memi. Over 300 paintings, plates, mirrors, and holy water fonts adorn the walls, creating an exhibition that makes the Louvre look modest. This is the work of Aunt Wilma, who clearly decided to tell the story of the house through portraits of chickens, people, vegetables, and landscapes.
And the mornings? Oh, mamma mia! The aroma of coffee dances the lambada with the scent of homemade cakes. The table is set with fresh bread from Forno Bottaro, freshly squeezed juices, fruit straight from the garden, and delicious cookies!
