At Casa des Flores, you supposedly feel right at home—"en casa", as Gigi and Oscar say. But what does that really mean? Is it the taste of Oscar’s freshly cooked omelet? Perhaps the laughter of guests drifting from the patio? Or is it the feeling of sinking into soft sheets in your room? There’s only one way to find out—you need to come here and experience it for yourself.

In the heart of historic Teguise, Gigi and Oscar have created Casa des Flores—a place where the homey atmosphere hangs in the air like the scent of freshly brewed coffee in the morning. The daily routine is simple: a three-course breakfast menu, after which you can relax by the pool or embark on one of the scenic hikes across Lanzarote, discovering the island’s volcanic landscapes and hidden beaches.

In the building from 1785, the interiors embrace like a favorite blanket. Simplicity reigns, but you can see Gigi’s touch—she’s a former costume designer who infused the space with an artistic spirit. Some elements were crafted by a local carpenter, affectionately known as “Don Manuel.” With a mischievous sparkle in her eye, Gigi jokes that his creations should be displayed in the Prado Museum.
