This is supposed to be the most crazy and extravagant hotel, located in an old winery from 1858. Just not taller than the tower of the nearby church - that would be too much. If we had to guess, this could have been the brief given to Frank O. Gehry, the architect of the Marqués de Riscal hotel.

Wine? It plays the first, second, and third fiddle here. From the terrace, you can see the oldest vineyard in Rioja. It's the perfect place to sip local nectar and watch the sun caress the ripening grapes. At the Caudalie spa, you can soak in a wine bath. Or simply gaze at the vineyards from the pool. The choice is yours. And if you’re hungry, a Michelin-starred restaurant awaits. Chef Francis Paniego creates such wonders that even sommeliers are in awe.
