Houses that look like gigantic stone pine cones rising from the earth. This is no dream or fairy tale—this is magical Apulia. The trulli, as they are called, have stood here for centuries and were once used as peasant homes. Hidden among vineyards, olive groves, and orchards, they are just 15 km from the azure coast. Nestled between the charming towns of Ostuni and Cisternino, they provide an ideal base for discovering the treasures of Apulia.

At the heart of this place is Anna, who, along with her family, ensures a unique, homely atmosphere. Thanks to them, you'll feel not like an ordinary tourist but like a long-awaited guest. In the morning, you can hear the neighing of horses—friendly mares from the neighboring meadow that come to greet you every day. Children will be thrilled by the olive treehouse, while you can relax in a hammock gently swaying among fragrant fruit trees.

What awaits you? Morning espresso on the terrace overlooking Valle d'Itria. Breakfast featuring local delicacies, including focaccia that melts in your mouth. Walks among stone walls and conical roofs adorned with mysterious symbols. From here, it’s easy to reach the region's major attractions—from baroque Lecce, through ceramics-rich Grottaglie, to the magical Matera in neighboring Basilicata.
