Nature Space Jabugo
Agrotourism
This might be the smallest village on Slowhop! El Quejigo has only 9 inhabitants. Lost among rustling oaks and chestnut trees, it's a traditional place that will enchant every seeker of authentic experiences and flavors of Andalusia.
A whole mosaic of taste sensations awaits culinary adventure enthusiasts: aromatic Iberian ham, spicy chorizo, or the famous pink tomato. And when the season allows, the forest will bless you with a wealth of mushrooms, among which the prized porcini reigns supreme. Even chestnut delicacies recommend themselves for tasting here!
They're best buddies with eco-living! The rustic sheepfold and shepherd’s house have been transformed into cozy guest homes using traditional materials like stone and brick, baked in an old farm oven. The old pork roasting table holds stories from local homemakers, and through the window, you’ll see the local stars – Charolais cows – grazing freely. Life here is simple and natural. Enjoy the fresh air and read a book under an oak tree. There's no Wi-Fi or TV here! The most beautiful views are right outside the window!
In the heart of Sierra de Aracena, and Picos de Aroche Nature Park, each day is a new adventure. After all, it's the largest wild reserve in the area. You can observe rare bird species, hike forest trails, fall asleep listening to the silence of the starry night, and wake up in the morning to joyful trills in this bird paradise.
