Just an hour’s drive and you’ll find yourself in Modica. It’s probably the sweetest spot on the island! They make chocolate here using Aztec recipes. They say it’s delicious, but it’s best to try it for yourself!

Another twenty minutes of driving and you’ll arrive at Rifugio Lanzagallo. It’s a charming stone house nestled among olive groves at a crossroads of country roads. From here, you can see the southern tip of Sicily and the Mediterranean Sea.

It was once a home for animals and a ricotta cheese factory, but now? It’s a stone cottage with history and comfort! There’s even a round bathtub with a view of the surrounding fields.
