I'm a Sudetes guide, a biker (Gravel and MTB), and a regionalist. I'm a ruiner who renovated a 200-year-old Upper Lusatian house in Świeradów. I'm a volunteer who runs the local NGO Flins, working to disseminate knowledge and protect the local cultural and natural heritage (which is particularly a nuisance to the developers who are rampant in the mountains, hence the "marauders" ;)).

For my hikes, I don a green cloth outfit (inspired by the attire of the Jizera Mountains inhabitants from centuries ago) or I go outdoors in civilian clothes. My hikes range from small to large, primarily in the Jizera Mountains, but also in the Karkonosze Mountains, Northern Bohemia, German Upper Lusatia, and further into Saxony.

I especially recommend:
· On the Trail of Ghosts in the Jizera Valley. A cultural tour seasoned with natural history, telling the story of an extraordinary settlement far from the civilized world in the Jizera River valley (today known as Hala Izerska, Polski Pole Zimna (Polish Cold Pole), and Chatka Górzystów (Górzystów Cottage) with its famous pancakes). We can depart from either Szklarska Poręba–Jakuszyce or Świeradów. Ghosts, apparitions, treasure hunters, poachers known for making deals with the devil, and Evangelical religious refugees holed up in the wilderness – there's plenty to tell. Price per tour: 800 PLN.

· A GENERAL or ARCHITECTURAL walking tour of Świeradów, including my favorite spa-villa-style local style (Heimatstill). Price: 500 PLN.

· A walking tour of the Czerniawa, Wolimierz, and Pobiedna areas. Egzulants and the Upper Lusatian Houses, and panoramic views of the Jizera Mountains. Streets and dirt roads known only to locals. Price: 500 PLN.

· Gravel and MTB cycling guides. The Jizera Mountains and Foothills. The most beautiful routes and landscapes in our area. Suggested price for a longer trip: 800 PLN, shorter: 500 PLN. Assistance with MTB bike rentals is available from a friendly rental company.

… but also bike and train tours in the Neisse Euroregion. In addition to the Jizera Foothills and the Jelenia Góra Valley, we also cover German Upper Lusatia and Northern Bohemia. I also know these areas and admire them. Let's admire them together.
