Hi, I'm Jacek. I've been a beekeeper for 10 years and a cook for over 30 years. My passion for cooking is combined with using regional, fresh products, such as honey, eggs, cheese, cold cuts, meat, fish, vegetables, fruit and forest floor.
In my kitchen, I value regionalisms and use products from Warmia. Among other things, I prepare karmushka soup, potato babka, potato pancakes with smoked fish and beef tartare from regional farms. Warmia cuisine is a place where different cultures meet, so my guests can try pancakes with mushrooms from the Warmia forests, fish soup based on local fish, Warmia mushroom soup and karmushka.
For main courses, I serve, among others. pasta with smoked local fish, duck breast with beetroot, beef stroganoff with Silesian dumplings and beef steak from regional farms with roasted potatoes and marinated mushrooms. For dessert, I offer, among others, cream tubes, tiramisu and creme brulee. My wife Iwona prepares delicious cakes and cheesecakes, which are a perfect complement to live cooking.
For seafood lovers, I prepare, among others, grilled whole octopus, and I also have special dishes for vegetarians.
The live cooking show lasts about 2 hours. I arrive at the venue an hour earlier. The cost within 80 km from my place of residence is PLN 250 per person. The minimum number of people is two, and the maximum is 12. The place where the live cooking takes place must have basic kitchen equipment, such as an induction cooker. I bring most of the necessary dishes with me. The organizer provides table settings and an appropriate number of covers (plates for a starter, soup, main course and dessert).
Within a radius of 60 km for agritourism centers I also provide catering services in the form of breakfast, lunch and social baskets.
