The valley has quite a long and successful history. Our parents started a project to transform this place in the early 1990s, turning a large outbuilding into a cozy, hospitable home. Creative renovations and extensions lasted over 2 decades, as a result of which a small ecovillage grew around the Guest House. There were artistic times when a group of friends staged amateur plays at Teatr Ludowy Kopaniec. The theater hall became our workshop room - the heart of the Valley. There was also a historical thread when the main visionary of this place (our father Norbi) built a replica of the 13th-century settlement in the meadow in front of the house, currently a place for picnics and exploration for our guests, slowly transforming into a complex of gardens and an animal pen. After the Middle Ages, the space of the Valley was filled with its development activities by the Harmonia Kultury Foundation, which we established over 10 years ago to promote social economy, permaculture and living in harmony with nature. The Valley of Harmony is the sum of all these activities, multiplied by the extraordinary energy of the Jizera land.
