"You who go to trendy bathing places for the sake of a good vibe, don't know the charm of the Baltic beach in Dziwnów. Come here, go out on the beautiful sandy beach, let yourself be enveloped by the fresh sea air, and I assure you that this narrow strip of land has more beauty to show than all the fashionable bathing places." This is how Ernest Litfass, publisher of the German newspaper "Berliner Tagesttelegraph", wrote about Dziwnów in 1853.
Something must have been going on because a few years later, in August 1899, a whale landed on the beach in Dziwnów, much to the surprise of residents and holidaymakers. There is evidence of this, and today it can be admired in the Stralsund Oceanarium.
It has been a long time, but there is something about Dziwnów because we were brought here from Silesia. There were dreams about a house by the sea and among pines. Then an idea to give up everything and go to the Baltic Sea instead of Bieszczady. We built our house here, and next to it, we built another barn - for guests.
In a modern, wooden barn, surrounded by a pine forest, with a view of trees swaying in the seaside breeze. Two barns stand next door, the smaller one is occupied by us - the hosts. We put our whole hearts and a lot of work into their construction by our 4 hands, who until recently knew next to nothing about construction. There were splinters, bricklaying, digging and carpentry training. And somehow, by force of will and dreams, in the small seaside town of Dziwnów we built our dream - an oasis of peace to which you want to return.
Here, pine trees grow with palms and flamingos walk with deer. We like pastels and tropics and we smuggled some of them to us. We have a SPA zone, where you can relax to the max; jacuzzi and sauna. Since March 2022, two alpacas Leo and Rio have been living with us, every day around 10:00 there is a carrot feast, breakfast is served for Leo and Rio, both little and big ones love it.
Now to the point, here's what we have for you:

You can try to spend your vacation without capsizing in a hammock, close your eyes on a deckchair and enjoy the best of all possible activities, i.e. doing nothing. However, if boredom is not to your taste, we will suggest what to do in the area.
Dziwnów is an ideal place for herrings, water bugs and those who cannot imagine a vacation without access to water. And here, not only is there plenty of water, but both saltwater and freshwater have their chance to show off. In the vicinity of our habitat (600m) you will find the incredibly charming Martwe Jezioro. Once it was the mouth of the Dziwna River, but after its natural shallowing, a canal was filled in. Today, the lake is separated from the sea sands by a forest, along its western shore runs a bicycle trail connecting Dziwnów with Międzywodzie, while on the eastern one you will find a charming beach with a grassy shore and with a bit of luck you will even run into a peregrine falcon or a white-tailed eagle. In the 80s, a military swimming pool operated here. Today the lake is under strict protection and has ecological use.
A bit further on, quite salty. You have 800 meters from us to the official beach entrance in Dziwnów, and if you count it in a straight line, after 300 meters from the bed you are already frying. On our beach you will not meet wild crowds of beachgoers, you will meet too wide beaches without crowds or if you want you can choose a wild beach.
All avid fishermen will have a paradise here. You can soak your rod on the Dziwna, the Kamieński Reservoir, and even sail out to the sea to fish. The waters of the Reservoir and the Dziwna River are inhabited by perch, roach, bream, pike, eel and even wild carp.
A bit further, west of Dziwnów, we recommend visiting the Woliński National Park (about 50 km from our Stodoła).
And now some numbers:
- Right next to the seaside bike trail r -10. Approx. 150m from the bike path R 10 connecting Dziwnów with Międzywodzie and Dziwnów with Dziwnówek and the entire Coast.
to the center of Dziwnów 1.3 km with waffles, curlers and everything you can but don't have to
- to the center of Międzywodzie 2.5 km, to Miedzyzdroje 20 km, to Świnoujście 34 km
- 6.5 km to the Windsurfing School and equipment rental in Dziwnówek. Windsurfers and kitesurfers often visit the waters of Wrzosowska Bay and Kamieński Lagoon.
In the summer season, July and August, you can dance summer zumba with us, which takes place once a week and gets every leg moving regardless of age, gender or nationality.
Summer cinema for both young and old is another of our summer attractions. Gathering around the campfire and karaoke won't surprise you either..
We invite you to the MAY HOLIDAY in the rhythm of S A I L E N T. DISCO: what's on the program? Meditations, affirmations, music from the 80s and 90s, Party disco and collective meditation by the campfire, two broadcasting channels: for children (fairy tales, poems, music) and for adults. Each guest will receive a set of headphones for their family along with a written program and will decide for themselves at what times and in what they want to have fun with us. Last year we managed this event brilliantly, so we are repeating the best.
What’s there for children?
In addition to a pile of sand to shovel, litres of water to pour and castles to build for the kids, we have: two sandy playgrounds in the garden. For bad weather, there is (less cool) wifi and a TV with Netflix, or (more cool) board games, puzzles and books.
In the summer, once a week we organize games for children and on nice evenings we serve family cinema with popcorn. The children have surprised us more than once with their musical abilities during karaoke concerts.
What’s there for employees?
The dining room is tested by our guests not only in terms of delicious meals, but also remote work. In the common areas, you can expect a moderate amount of disturbances, but during mid-week stays, we rarely host children. In the corridor on the first floor we have a relaxation area, which is also used by guests to immerse themselves in everyday duties. In two rooms upstairs there are desks, chairs and rocking chairs. Working in the garden is the quintessence of workation, because the energy that is used during work is also replenished from the sun.
In semi-stodoły houses there are tables and a comfortable sofa. At your request, we are able to prepare an additional workplace on the mezzanine, but please inform us in advance. If you are staying with children, this option is not an option as the mezzanine is their sleeping space.
