You will find it here, in our 200-year-old cottage, located in a tiny mountain village by the trails to the peaks of Wielka Raca in Beskid Żywiecki.

The cottage is 150 m2 in size and will luxuriously accommodate 6 people in stylish, natural and wood-scented interiors. There are modern amenities and fully equipped facilities, and above all, a wonderful, idyllic atmosphere.

The great location of the cottage on the edge of a mountain forest and away from the neighbours will provide you with complete privacy, silence and contact with nature, and if you want, you can easily go to mountain trails, ski lifts, pubs, local shops and lots of attractions in the area. Thanks to fast WiFi, you can also watch your favourite TV series.

Our Mountain Habitat consists of two unique cottages, designed for relaxation in peace and close to nature:

1. CHATA PRZEGIBEK (large garden and complete privacy)

150 m² – for up to 8 people – with a jacuzzi and sauna

We are located at an altitude of 650 m above sea level, on the banks of a mountain river, in the picturesque and intimate village of Rycerka Górna – known for its beautiful trails in the Wielka Racza mountain range. Our cottages are beautifully situated at the very end of a private road, in the last line of buildings – free from traffic and other people. It's the perfect place to unwind.

The cottages are spacious, warm, and decorated in a friendly, mountain style. They are meticulously finished with high-quality materials and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay: a private jacuzzi, washing machine, large dishwasher, stovetop, spacious wardrobes, fully equipped kitchenettes, shoe dryers, books, board games, a TV with streaming services, game consoles, and a selection of DVDs. We also have one trekking bike, two large downhill scooters, and a 4x4 battery-powered car for children aged 3-5.

The house is heated by electric heaters and a wood-burning stove. Thanks to its solid insulation, even on hot days, the interior maintains a pleasant temperature – without the need for air conditioning.

The large, sunny terrace features a LAZYSPA jacuzzi (available from May to September) and comfortable seating: a dining table, a corner sofa, and ottomans, all protected from the sun and rain by an awning. The terrace offers unobstructed views of the mountain forest.

Next to the house is a large green area – perfect for playing football or badminton, as well as a fire pit, barbecue area, and a swing with a slide.

Inside, you'll find: fast fiber-optic Wi-Fi, a collection of books, a TV with Netflix (no traditional cable TV), board games, a PlayStation 4 console, LEGO bricks, a sled, two all-terrain scooters, football goals, and a badminton set.


[KNIGHT'S COTTAGE]

The cottage has stood on this site since at least 1875 – and perhaps even longer. Over the years, we have completely rebuilt it, wall by wall, room by room. We have combined traditional architecture, natural materials, stylish furniture, and artwork with modern furnishings and every comfort.

The house is situated in an exceptionally picturesque location – above a mountain stream, above other houses. The nearest buildings are 30 meters away, ensuring peace, privacy, and closeness to nature.

The cottage is also perfect for remote work – we offer high-speed fiber-optic internet, comfortable, large desks in each bedroom, and a spacious dining table for 8 people in the living room.

The entire structure creates the unique atmosphere of a mountain villa with nearly 200 years of history. The cottage is heated primarily by two fireplaces, and for complete comfort, there are electric heaters in every room.

Guests also have access to a large sauna connected to the bathroom, with direct access to the terrace – in winter, you can jump straight into the snow, and in summer, cool off in the mountain stream right next to the cottage.

Under the wooden shelter, at the entrance, is a Bestway jacuzzi for 3 people (available from May to September, weather permitting, for an additional fee). An electrically heated hot tub is also available in the garden (opening: July 2026).

For the convenience of longer stays, we provide a well-equipped kitchen (150 cm refrigerator, large dishwasher), as well as a washing machine in the bathroom.

The cottage also offers many entertainment options:

a PlayStation 3 console, a collection of books, a large TV with access to streaming services and satellite TV, a collection of CDs and DVDs, board games, and LEGO bricks.

Outside, a spacious green area awaits you – we have a level court for playing football or badminton, as well as a firepit and barbecue area near the house.

Note:
Due to the historic nature of the house, nestled into the natural surroundings, the cottage may not be suitable for young children or those with limited mobility (please note the fireplaces without safety fences, the uneven ground in the garden, the lack of a full fence, and the rather steep stairs).

There are several places to eat really well in the area.
We particularly recommend places to eat in Milówka, Istebna, and Węgierska Górka:
- In Milówka: ("Restaurant u Sabci" at the Tycjan Hotel - 18 km - 15 minutes by car, 40 minutes by bike on the wonderful VELO Soła trail),
- Beviamo Neapolitan pizza in Węgierska Górka - 55 minutes by bike on the wonderful VELOSOŁA trail
- For a trip to Istebna, we recommend "Dwór Kukuczka" - 26 km - 30 minutes by car.
- We also recommend dinner at the PTTK Przegibek mountain shelter.

In addition, in the summer you can have daily meals at the "Galimatiasowy Krepol" resort. Located 200 meters from us, we offer a two-course dinner with compote for 30 PLN (it's delicious and highly recommended).

In addition, each house is equipped with a kitchenette, perfect for everyday cooking. You'll find a refrigerator, a large dishwasher, an oven, a kettle, a blender, and a drip coffee maker.

Nearby, just 200 meters from us, is the small children's summer camp "Galimatiasowy Krepol," where you can order meals in the summer (lunch 35 PLN/person).

Daily shopping? No problem! There's a Delikatesy Centrum grocery store 2 km away, and a Żabka grocery store and an ABC store 3 km away.

1# MOUNTAIN TRAILS
Our mountains are a true delight for nature lovers – long, untouched trails in the Żywiec Landscape Park are waiting to be discovered! Although our terrain is still wild, it's not particularly demanding – perfect for trekking and for families with children. In the immediate vicinity, you'll find mountain trails along the Wielka Racza range (Wielka Rycerzowa, Przegibek, Wielka Racza), and nearby you'll also find Rysianka, Pilsko, Barania Góra, Skrzyczne, and Babia Góra (although this requires a car). You can enjoy a simple, tasty lunch at the mountain shelters.

2# BICYCLES
A great attraction is the VELO SOŁA cycling trail – it takes you straight from the house to Lake Żywieckie (39km). In addition, you'll find plenty of bike paths in the area for smooth forest roads. Furthermore, there are wonderful MTB trails all around (biking is possible on our hiking trails). Mountain bike and electric bike rentals are also available nearby (in the towns of Rajcza and Milówka).

#3 HORSE RIDING
Nearby, there's the "Agroturystka Luzak" stud farm, where you can arrange a guided horseback ride through the mountains or a winter sleigh ride. Just call 506 135 896 and you're set!

#4 SKIING
- The nearest ski lift (T-bar lift), SKI PARK RAJCZA, ideal for children's lessons with an instructor, is only 8 km away (10 minutes by car).
- A little further, 20 minutes by car, is the ZWARDOŃSKI ski resort, where you'll find a long chairlift and several trails.
- We highly recommend skiing in Slovakia – in 30-40 minutes by car, you can reach the well-prepared ski resorts in Slovakia: SNOWPARADISE in Oscadnica and ORAVASNOW Orava Lesna. In less than an hour, you can also reach Szczyrk, where Szczyrk Mountain Resort is the best ski resort in the country.

For ski touring enthusiasts, we have plenty of beautiful, unspoiled trails. For cross-country skiing, the best place to go is Istebna (20 minutes from us) – it's one of the best places in Poland for cross-country skiing.

#5 BY THE WATER

If you feel like spending the day by the water, Lake Żywieckie, located 30 km from us, and Lake Namestovo (Slovakia), offer sailboat, kayak, SUP, and pedal boat rentals. You can get there by car or bike along the VELOSOŁA trail.

In the vicinity (just 10 km from us), you'll also find outdoor swimming pools and the largest rope park in the region: GEOPARK Glinka.

# MORE IDEAS
- In Zwardoń (15 km) there's the KARTINGMANIA karting track.
- One day, visit the monumental Orava Castle and take a ride on the narrow-gauge forest railway (Slovakia is a 35-minute drive away).
- You can explore the charming surrounding towns. Żywiec, Wisła, Szczyrk, and Cieszyn are all worth a visit. For example, Cieszyn boasts the Cieszyn Rotunda – the oldest building in Poland, and the market square and beer from the Castle Brewery will surely satisfy you.
In Bielsko-Biała, there are excellent restaurants and a museum of fairy tales and animated films.
In Żywiec, be sure to visit the ŻYWIEC Brewery Museum and sample delicacies from the PINTA Brewery.
In Pszczyna, you must visit one of the most beautiful palaces in Poland – Princess Daisy's Palace. These are just some of the attractions you will find in our original guide, which I will send you by email.

Your children will find plenty of space for imaginative and active outdoor play. We can think of activities like archery, field games, close-up viewing of butterflies, lizards, birds, and deer, splashing in the stream, kite flying, sledding, big-wheel scooters, remote-controlled cars, and more.

Also nearby (8 km) is a large rope park with swimming pools (GEOPark Glinka), a go-kart track, and plenty of mountain and bike trails, ensuring plenty of exercise and a good night's sleep.
Children who love horses can enjoy magical horseback riding tours around the area, or sleigh rides in winter.

Each cottage offers fast fiber-optic internet.
GSM cell phone coverage is available on the terrace, but inside the house, it depends on the network: some providers offer good/sufficient coverage (PLUS/ORANGE), while others offer poor coverage (PLAY).

Each cottage has a work table and desk.

On the large terraces, which also offer Wi-Fi, we have a large, comfortable lounge area with a sofa, table, and chairs. The terraces are sheltered from the sun and rain, so no weather threatens you. From here, you can also enjoy the soothing views of the mountains, meadows, and forests.
