Piszkowice Palace is a haven of classical beauty, resurrected by two enthusiasts from Canada. We discovered it in 2015 when after nearly 20 years of vacancy, the landmark was a complete ruin with no chance of restoration. At first, we struggled with scenes like in horror movies: rotten wood, rubble, debris and a crazy idea for revitalisation. Since then, for exactly 4 years, the palace has been and still is meticulously renovated, taking into account the art of conservation and a great passion for recreating the original interiors and creating a unique place with soul. We quietly hope that with our passion, we will encourage someone to buy and save another palace.
We ask for empathy for the historical building; we are still refinishing the interior and exterior. We are a time machine, with modern conveniences delicately integrated into the fabric of a baroque palace smelling of lilies. We have just 4 rooms for you, the vastness of the building and terrace gardens, and an intimate atmosphere for adults looking for the Loire Valley a little closer.
Luxurious stylish rooms, each 45 square meters. Maybe it's apartments already? We spare no effort in the rooms - the highest quality tiles, underfloor heating and glass cabins in each bathroom. At the same time in good taste and in moderation. The rooms boast original and carefully selected antiques alongside stylish new armchairs and couches for relaxation. Beds, only in King Size and with premium mattresses, because a great day starts with a perfect sleep.
Gardens are our passion - from the real jungle, still present on the lowest terrace, we recreated unique terraced gardens with flowers, lawns and places for relaxation, yoga or pleasant hours in a deckchair and with a book. Flowers, trees, shrubs - our garden matures and becomes more and more cozy with each passing year.
The extremely valuable park layout consists of steep terraces comparable only to those in the Książ castle and a unique baroque garden from the 18th century with a rococo garden pavilion unique in Poland.
Staying with us is also an opportunity to visit the raw walls and cellars of the 17th century stronghold transformed into a palace, some 1.5 meters thick, and to talk about archaeological discoveries or conservation techniques.
Due to the safety and preservation of the "silence reserve", we invite adults and young people from 11 years of age.
We offer very extensive breakfasts, something different every day so that no one gets bored. From pancakes to local specialities, always fresh bread and organic. We try to offer at least 75% vegetarian products because it is not only healthier but also better for our environment.
Dinner is offered on weekends and daily in July and August. You can choose the location - in the garden, on the terrace or in the dining room. Dinner in the Piszkowice garden by candlelight is a rather unique attraction :)
With us, time runs really slowly, and yet we do not know the word "boredom". Perhaps we are also attracted to people who never get bored, and who call peace and quiet relaxing. For those who want to experience, we have endless ideas for hiking, cycling or car rides. To Szczeliniec, Kudowa, Bystrzyca, Lądek or Wałbrzych - it is impossible to count the options for day trips. The Kłodzko Valley is created for tourism.
After making yourself at home and settling in the salon, we will tell you what, how and where. In each apartment there is a local guide with 563 attractions of our area.
What’s there for children?
Our children are 12 and up, because smaller babies can hurt themselves on steep terraces and often collide with the nature of our oasis. There are still some endless corners of the palace and we cannot host younger guests at the moment.
