Masuria, birds singing, ubiquitous greenery and a lake unlike any other. Just beyond the picturesque Masurian village, there’s nothing but fields, meadows buzzing with insects and gravel walking paths. In such eye-catching natural circumstances, there is a house built in 2019.
Czarna Sosna is a year-round, new and wood-smelling 2-in-1 house, with a view of a pine forest and a short distance to the lake shoreline. Air conditioning provides comfort in the summer and heat from the fireplace in the winter creates a magical setting. The house is happy to welcome those who value contact with nature, actively or passively, but always respect what is different and natural to feel full happiness at least for a moment, just like us.
We provide our guests with direct access to the private dock and the shoreline of Lake Zdrężno - unique because of the green forest border on the other side. We have the deluxe version of Masuria because of the lack of buildings and soothing silence of the river which creates a total zone of silence in the reservoir.
On a large property, at a comfortable distance for all (about 50m), there are two houses available, each with its own exclusive garden. The shared area is a pine forest, a path to the lake and a large bridge, which is only for our guests = max. 3 families. On the way to the lake, we pass a house where friendly people live.
From October to April and July we invite you with children, in other months - only adults.
Czarna Sosna is a niche place for aesthetes. We have a green ZEN zone for adults who crave silence. We are distinguished by the intimacy of the place and the diverse terrain provides a multitude of visual experiences. We care about aesthetics and good design. Our priority is the intimate relaxation of our Guests. In accordance with this principle, we do not initiate contacts but we try to be ready to help and advise. We are neighbors, although we are not always on site and we cannot promise hotel/24h service. We have put a lot of work and effort into making our Guests' stay comfortable and at the same time self-sufficient and self-service.
Sosna and Świerk are two independent houses. Each with an exclusive garden, its own shelter and a pine forest 5 steps away. Don't worry: the layout of the houses and the distance between them ensures intimate relaxation for all Guests. This is our priority. An additional distance between the houses provides a field for playing volleyball/badminton. A little further, in the second part of the property, we provide access to the lake shoreline, a large private pier and a terrace overlooking the lake with a 24-hour campfire site exclusively for our guests.
Two cottages to choose from. Pine and Spruce are twin sisters, each for max. 4 people. They definitely have more in common than they do apart, but subtle differences can be noticed. In each house:
Ground floor: living room with kitchenette and bathroom (shower cabin)
First floor: 2 rooms: in the larger one a bed 160x200, in the second one 2 single beds each measuring 90x200 (on request of the guests we can put the beds together)
A few amenities: wine cooler (you can fit a large supply ;), air conditioning, safe, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, TV, books, board games and outdoor games.
The entire property is fenced. Inside we have an open plan - without fences and gates. Unguarded parking on the property. The facility is monitored.
The kitchen in each cottage is equipped with an induction hob, dishwasher + capsules, coffee machine, wine cooler, pots, cutlery, plates and glassware. There is no oven. Grill by the cottage.
In our area in advance! you can order country eggs and sourdough bread. The surrounding forests provide mushrooms, and the lake with a bit of luck - fish.
Large grocery stores closest in Ełk (Biedronka behind the first roundabout right at the entrance) - distance 10km.
Where to eat in the area?
- Ełk - on the famous promenade: restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlors.
- delicious fish !!! only in Chata Rybaka in Sędki and for a home-cooked dinner we recommend Karczma Mazurska in Oraczach, open only in the summer season (close! you can get there by bike!)
- In the vicinity of Stare Juchy, go to Gościniec na Wzgórzu (it is worth calling in advance)
We immodestly believe that we have almost everything on site: a secluded place, a unique lake with a green wall of forest on the other side, floating equipment, wonderful landscapes with field and gravel paths + bicycles, a private pine forest with the option of aromatherapy in a hammock, an outdoor gym, numerous places to read books, do yoga and listen to birdsong. Attractions among people? Tourist ;) attractive Ełk 10 km away.
In autumn and winter we provide wood for the fireplace, sleds and a session in the sauna with the option of jumping into the lake (sauna - available from October to the end of April for an additional fee). In winter, the views are also fabulous! The cottages are year-round, warm with underfloor heating in the bathroom.
A 3D screen on the forest in Czarna Sosna and a wide horizon on the fields and meadows in Świerk will provide beautiful memories at any time of the year. We invite you.
In the area:
- numerous kayaking trips - the closest one is Dryf, starting from the village next door - Straduny,
- the Janisze stud farm is only 5 km away (the ride must be booked well in advance),
- the nearest city is Ełk (distance 10 km) with a promenade along the lake, a bike path, a rope park for children 4+, the Ełk Culture Centre offers various cultural and sports events in the season (current at www.eck.elk.pl),
- we also recommend a picturesque trip on the narrow-gauge railway (starting from Ełk from May to mid-September) and a visit to the Narrow-Gauge Railway Museum in Ełk.
What’s there for children?
We invite you with children 14+ for a reason. We have a refuge for those thirsty for silence. The entire place is designed for relaxation and pleasure for adults. Arrival with smaller children is possible only after agreement and when booking 2 houses. We warn you. We do not have playgrounds and the descent into the water is only from a ladder already at the depth. We do not have a beach for toddlers. For young people: kayak, water bike, SUP board, bicycles, a whole forest of strawberries in June, outdoor gym and a volleyball court.
On request in the rental price: bicycle seat + helmet, life jackets for swimming on a water bike, travel cot, high chair. We do not provide bedding for the travel cot.
