The countryside, sensitivity to nature, and the need for our own space have always lived within us. All the stars aligned to form Kwietne Łąki.
Here, we treat guests with tenderness and gentleness, and nature sets the rhythm of the day. Kwietne Łąki is chosen by families, friends, workshop participants and couples. It is an intimate space because the meadows and river create a quiet neighbourhood. In the glass workshop room, we capture important moments, reflect on ourselves, exercise the body and practice mindfulness, and take part in ear-pleasing meditation.
Head over in the direction of the murmuring Krutynia river. To the village founded in the nineteenth century by Old Believers, where among flowers and buzzing insects you will find 3 houses with atmosphere. Stary Mazur is our oldest house. In 1945, Mrs Luba lived in it, who is still remembered by the elderly residents of Wojnów. An original, lonely old woman with a wooden cane, who was very adamant about not letting anyone scurry across her farm. There is also Nowy Mazur, a house modelled after Masurian cottages, and Stodola – a place for workshops and sleeping. We watch stars instead of television. There are no TVs in the homes because there’s so much to take in outside, but also within ourselves.
Some will be running around and exploring all the local attractions, others will check out the surrounding bicycle routes, others will find entertainment in Gałków, nearby. Those who are just like us will simply sink into a hammock and just absorb this place, nature and peace. Kwietne Łąki is for everyone, but the last group will have the most fun. We offer holidays in an atmosphere of respect, without forcing or pressuring anyone into doing anything. You can do whatever you’d like.
Flowery meadows, rustling grasses, a sea of grains, a nearby river, lakes and forests. It is a scenography in which a quiet vacation takes place. Behind the gate, there are 3 Masurian huts in the weave of paths. One with a rich past and two new ones to match the local style. The interiors are different, but we have put a lot of heart into all of them, so that the rest is comfortable and charming.
On almost 2 hectares of land you will find:
- two detached houses for max. 10 people each and the so-called A barn with 4 rooms and a workshop room,
- a large separate place for a bonfire with prepared wood, a gazebo, terraces with garden furniture and a barbecue, a beautiful garden and a large space of meadows behind the houses.
Stary Mazur is a wooden cottage that is over a hundred years old, which we respectfully brought back to life, trying with all our strength not to destroy its true spirit. So there are original brick walls and stoves in which the then owner, Mrs. Luba, used to smoke.
On the ground floor of the house there is a living room connected to the kitchenette, a small kitchen and two bedrooms, which can sleep together 5 people. If the needs are greater, there is a convertible double sofa bed in the living room. We also have a shared bathroom downstairs.
At the top, in the attic, there are sleeping places for four people, there is also a bathroom here. Folding sofas also allow more guests to sleep, but we do not want to exceed the standards, so our cottage can accommodate max. 10 people. In front of the cottage there is a wooden terrace and garden furniture. You can enjoy the Masurian climate to your heart's content!
Nowy Mazur is a fresh fruit, which we built in 2017/18. The use of old brick and recycled tiles makes it look like houses, which are examples of Masurian architecture.
The interior style is a mixture of a simple Scandinavian form with rustic accents. The 120 square meter house can accommodate up to 10 people, if you take into account the sofa bed in the living room.
Downstairs, there is a large kitchen and a living room with a dining area, fireplace and access to the terrace, and a bathroom with a toilet. The first floor consists of three bedrooms: two for three and one for two. Each room has a bathroom.
The barn is a building with an 80-meter workshop room and a residential part. Its interior in shades of gray is simply beautiful, and the glass walls let in a lot of light. Four rooms with bathrooms: two on the ground floor and two in the attic. On each level there is a kitchenette (no hob upstairs, you can cook only downstairs) and a dining room.
There is everything in Flower Meadows that will enable you to prepare your own meals.
In Stary Masuria, on the ground floor, there is a lounge connected to a stove, where you can prepare your meals in peace, and in the garden there is a place for a bonfire and grill.
Downstairs in Nowy Masuria, we have a spacious kitchen and a living room with a dining area and free access to the terrace, where breakfasts taste delicious.
There are two kitchens in the barn. On the ground floor, the workshop room is adjacent to the kitchen and dining room, where you can eat and cook. There is a cooker with a dining area upstairs, but no hob here. So you can only cook at the bottom.
To get supplies, go to the nearest village shop - 300 m. It is very well stocked, always open 7 days a week.
For groups who also want to take a break from cooking, we offer a half board option. Friendly hosts can prepare meals from local products according to the needs and tastes.
If you are a fan of eating in restaurants, you will find some interesting places in the close vicinity. You will surely come out full and satisfied with each of them.

It's hard to live lightly, but we somehow manage. We want to infect you with love for Masuria and show you that the rush is overrated. Our Wojnowo is the perfect place for this. Meadows, fields, storks, a river, a beautiful Orthodox church and an unusual female monastery of Old Believers with a tiny molenna by Lake Duś. You will find him at the end of the village. There is an Icon Museum in the monastery. There is a small cafe next to the monastery.
Flower Meadows, as the name suggests, enchant with smells, the sound of insects, a view to the horizon and a wonderful silence. Here, time is spent lazily, in a hammock, with a book, with board games and completely calm. You can do nothing while listening to your own needs, or you can use the gifts of nature.
As befits the Masurian landscapes, many blue eyes blink in the nearby and more distant surroundings. These are numerous lakes, from the largest ones to those carefully hidden in forests. A few steps from the Flower Meadows, the Krutynia winds its way, which is the most beautiful river in the world. We are probably not objective, but these views cannot be forgotten. Take advantage of its proximity and go rafting. All you need is a phone call and a bus with kayaks will come for you, take you to the starting point of the river adventure, and pick you up at the end of the rafting trip.
You can go horse riding to Gałków. There, at the Ferenstein Horse Stud, you can arrange the first riding lessons or go galloping on a trip through the forest combined with horse swimming in the river. At the end, lunch at the Potocki Restaurant and return along a picturesque gravel road between endless meadows.
If you prefer horse riding, we invite you to visit the Majdan Ecological Farm. There you will meet many animals, including Polish ponies. On beautiful meadows, the hosts breed these charming horses without standing.
Go on a trip to the Pranie Forester's Lodge. There at the K.I. Gałczyńaki, there are concerts that stay in the soul for a long time.
Our homestead hosts many workshops, meetings and trainings. If you are interested in organizing your own, we invite you to cooperate. Together with our fellow trainers and instructors, we can help you implement almost any idea!
What’s there for children?
Of course, we invite families with children. Everyone deserves Slow, and the little ones feel great in this reality without a TV set and with a meadow behind the house. The area is beautiful, fenced and ideal for a stay with children, although we do not yet have a special area for children. There are nearby attractions in the form of a river, horse studs in Gałków, numerous bicycle routes and lots of space to play football.
Children living in the Barn can use the room inside at will during inclement weather.
