In a place where man is not the most important. We respect nature and we are guests of fields, forests and lakes. The Dzika Kaczka settlement is located on 20 hectares of flower meadows, groves and ponds in the buffer zone of a landscape park, right on the Głębokie Lake, which is located in a quiet zone. We segregate rubbish and have a composter. We use paper packaging and straws. We even have kindling for fireplaces - made by a cooperative for the disabled. We have built a sewage bio-treatment plant that supplies the ponds in our land. We have equipped the apartments with jugs with water filters for the convenience of guests. We try to live well. We have rooms and apartments to choose from, to choose from. At your disposal on the ground floor there is a living room with a fireplace, a library with games and TV, a glazed porch with sofas for relaxation and a small kitchenette with a fridge, kettle and a set of dishes. You can choose one of five climatic 2 or 3-person rooms with a bathroom. - Brown Room: 3 people, 1 single bed, 1 double bed - Maki room: 2 people, 1 double bed - Green Room: 3 people, 1 single bed, 1 double bed - Room Nad Werandaą: 3 people, 1 single bed, 1 double bed - White Room: 3 people, 1 single bed, 1 double bed and a wooden cot with rungs for the youngest guests We also have three apartments that give guests comfort and privacy. Two of them: the Naj Apartment and the Apartment with a Fireplace are located in a separate building and constitute independent, two-level apartments with a fireplace or a goat, TV, a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, coffee machine, a set of dishes, electric and overflow kettle. These apartments have direct access to the garden. The third apartment has two rooms and is located in the House. Its guests have at their disposal a bedroom and a living room with a TV and a kitchenette and, on the lower floor, a fireplace room with a library and a glass veranda with sofas. - Naj Apartment: 5 people, 1 single bed, 1 large double bed, 1 sofa bed (Sofa Bed) This is our largest, over 70-meter apartment. It is located in a separate building with private entrance via the garden. - Apartment with Fireplace: 4 people, 1 single bed, 1 double bed, 1 sofa bed (Sofa Bed) The apartment is located in a separate building with a private entrance straight from the garden. Provides silence and intimacy. - Apartment in the House: 4 people, 2 single beds, 1 sofa bed Two-room apartment on the first floor with a wonderful view of the forests and meadows.

Fortunately, you can eat on the spot, because the nearest store is 2 kilometers away. Our menu card with the Wild Duck is waiting. I think we know a bit about cooking, because guests even come to us by helicopters, but we advise you to check it out for yourself. We run an intimate, home restaurant where you can order coffee, tea or compote with freshly baked cake, eat lunch or dinner by choosing from our short menu. What are we tempting with? Chocolate cake with whiskey, and this is just a foretaste of our ability to pamper the palate. If this rarity attracted your attention, we will be happy to tell you more. We have refined the recipe for snails in garlic butter, we brew Masurian sturgeon fish soup, serve pancakes with apple mousse for dessert, and then it's just a local beer from a small brewery and on a deckchair. We have a lot of jars this fall. We constantly produce red pine mushrooms, bay boletes and quince and plum preserves. Bake apple cakes, squeeze the last juices out of them, or stew and twist them into cans. We pay special attention to the quality of the ingredients of the dishes: - we buy flour in Grodzki Młyn - add eggs from happy hens to baking - goat and cow cheeses are supplied by an ecological farm from Warmia and Mazury - we buy meat at nearby eco farms - fruits, vegetables and herbs come from our garden Based on these products, we bake bread and cakes ourselves. We make cold cuts and smoked sausages in our own smokehouse, we bake pates.

In addition to delicious food, we serve words in their purest form. Our habitat hugs the forest, has a stork family behind its neighbors, and 20 hectares of its own meadows, groves and ponds ensure the lack of buildings. 800 steps separate you from Lake Głębokie, which has a first-class water purity and is located in a quiet zone. You can also listen to the fish swimming in the depths and the frogs croaking by the shore. In addition to a large garden with sun loungers, sleeping under an apple tree, stretches in the yoga room, our guests can enjoy a private beach. In summer it is possible to rent a boat. We will help enthusiasts of active recreation in planning trips, bicycle and horse rides and other attractions. There are plenty of picturesque bike routes around, and you can rent two wheels on site. We are 6 km away from the "heart of Masuria", i.e. picturesque Mikołajki, and only 18 km to Mrągowo. In winter, we organize bonfires and sleigh rides, and winter sports enthusiasts can use the 700 m ski slope with ski lifts in Mikołajki. After the season, we also invite you to go sailing, sleigh or carriage rides, reading by the fireplace and sleeping. At your disposal are: - rowing boat, pedal boats, SUP - hammocks - a place for a fire and firewood We run sourdough bread baking workshops with great passion, which we later munch together with home-made additives, and with even more pleasure we organize tincture tasting sessions. In our room with a panoramic view of greenery, regular yoga classes, workshops and individual lessons are held. We invite people already exercising and those who would like to check if yoga is for them, do something for themselves, take care of their body and well-being. There are rollers, blocks, blankets, belts, ropes and mats on site, as well as a beautiful, soothing view of the Masurian meadows. Classes at the Wild Duck are conducted by Kasia Szacińska, a certified integral yoga instructor. There are many places worth visiting for travelers: the Sanctuary in Święta Lipka, the Farm and the Galina Palace complex, the Castle in Reszel, the Wild Animal Park in Kadziłłów, the Frontier Ranch, and the promenade in Mikołajki. We also have a friendly horse farm, where you can make an appointment for lessons and horse rides in the forest or plan a kayaking trip on the Krutynia River.
