Leśna Kryjówka (Azyl dla dorosłych.... i kotów)

Near a small lake, with poor telephone coverage, on the edge of a pine forest, in the company of 7 cats. Open the door to the Hideout. It smells of the forest, has a non-urban, light-wooden atmosphere and only 3 double thematic rooms on the first floor (with a deer, wolf or fox motif) and one studio in the attic (with an owl motif). The layout of the house is such that you are upstairs, we are downstairs. No TVs. Very hospitable rooms have private bathrooms and a well-equipped shared kitchen with dining room. The attic studio is a beautiful, sunny, open space, with a separate bedroom area, kitchenette, living area and bathroom. From this place we guarantee the most beautiful view of the area, but you have to climb some steep stairs. Perfect option for a couple or 3 people. At your disposal there is a parking lot in front of the house and a garden with an atmospheric old shed with a covered sitting area and a fireplace area. In the vicinity there are several houses, a network of bicycle and walking paths and a quiet swimming lake. On site, you will find deckchairs, bicycles, peace and quiet and a view of meadows, fields and the blue distance. We also have neighbors, so sometimes a tractor will pass by, and sometimes you will hear the whir of a lawn mower. We are a small shelter for kittens, you will find all seven of them there to pet and cuddle.

We serve breakfasts, also in vegetarian or vegan versions, and since we love feeding, there is always variety and plenty to fill. We make cheese from milk from cows from the countryside, prepare omelets for you, serve shakshuka, scrambled eggs from farm eggs, vegan spreads, pesto made from spinach, kale or parsley. Plus delicious coffee from an espresso machine. We come up with flavor combinations for you, we try them, season them, combine unusual ingredients into one whole and we have great fun doing it.

There is no need to write about Bory, they are beautiful and that's enough. And we are a great starting point to get to know them better on foot, by bike or from the perspective of a kayak. It is not without reason that we found ourselves here and this is where Leśna Hideout was created. To easily and efficiently get to the lakes, in the middle of the forest, for mushrooms, kayaking and into the wilderness. The nearest lake you will find about 200 m from the cottage, it has a small beach and a pier. Then, on bikes, you can go to the village of Tleń for visual experiences and locally brewed beer (Przystanek Tleń). And on the Żurski Lagoon, go boating or paddle boating. You can kayak down the Wda River or enjoy a boat ride or a water bike on the local lake. And then return to the Hideout and rest in stillness. For long evenings in the wilderness, we offer board games, wine, a bonfire, conversations, cats on your knees and fighting mosquitoes. For those who want to spend time actively, we recommend kayaking on the picturesque Wda River. Along with the Brda, the Wda is one of the longest rivers in Bory Tucholskie. Because of its dark brown color, it used to be called Black Water. The Wda trail is relatively easy, and the fast current makes paddling easier. Due to its changeability (from a mountain stream to a wide, lazy river), picturesque meanders, often high and sometimes precipitous forested shores and beautiful gorges, it is an interesting kayaking trail. ROUTE BŁĘDNO - TLEŃ - (length of the section 20 km - approx. 6 hours) - route with obstacles and portages, recommended for experienced canoeists (for those who have already paddled) THE ROUTE OF THE STARA RIVER - TLEŃ - (length of the section 7 km - approx. 2 hours) - a simple route without obstacles, recommended for beginner canoeists (for those who do it for the first time) ROUTE ROUTE TLEŃ - ŻUR - (length of the section 9.4 km - approx. 3 hours) - a simple route without obstacles, the route leads through the Żurski Reservoir.
