By the Ropa river, on the Polish-Slovak border, there is a typical rural landscape. Grazing cattle and sheep, chickens crossing the road, barking dogs, the sound of a narrow river, Lemko crosses and silence sowed like poppy seeds. Sometimes there is no electricity, after all, we are in Gorlice, and there's always poor cell service, so we use landline phones. Blechnarka is somewhat hidden in the shadow of the health resort in Wysowa, but it does not bother us at all. We do not push our way into the spotlight, because we feel good on the sidelines.
The name of the village (Lemko Blichnarka) comes from the word blechnar, which probably means a craftsman who bleaches raw linen. There are many references to Lemkos here, after all, this is their land, where they lived, raised their children, built beautiful dives, and from which they were unfortunately evicted. They left behind cemeteries, crosses, an Orthodox church that can be seen from our windows and legends about mysterious beliefs. Although it sounds like a fairy tale, even after World War II in the Low Beskids it was believed that after death, people could turn into ghosts with two souls and two hearts. Baczowie, specialists in warding off evil powers, vampires, ghouls and ghosts, came to the rescue of the harassed inhabitants. Even today you can hear about the famous Leszek Babej, the most famous of the baczów, who lives in Blechnarka and rests in the local cemetery. There's a lot to say about the carefree local hero who likes to drink alcohol. Maybe someday by the fire, we will tell you...
These mysterious stories and unique atmosphere attracted us to the wild Low Beskids. We found a house that we wanted to save from decay and leave it in its original shape at all costs. Our Lemko house was built by the previous owners right after their return to their native land after the displacement in 1959.
We have been working in corporations for about 15 years, but the time has come for changes. We started to live slower, more modestly, more consciously, in harmony with ourselves and with nature. We are a musician, psychologist and coaches by education. Hence the name Dom Coacha i Mentora (House of Coach and Mentor). We invite those who want to rest in peace and quiet, get inspiration for further journeys through life. Here you can get a lot of smiles, music, and if necessary, work through your problems under the watchful eye of experienced trainers (coaches).
Come to breathe the fresh air after a rainy night, talk about art, history, culture, philosophy and psychology, pet the cat Marian and the dog Masha, listen to the wind raging in the meadows and walk in the wilderness.

We are on-site, we give our guests space and intimacy, but we're always ready to help
We could participate in the Teleexpress Gallery of Positively Crazy People. In spite of lamentations and our life situation, we moved to the Low Beskids in 2010 and we are still discovering it with child-like curiosity and joy. We always try to smile and look for positives in every situation. Here we have renovated not only the house but also our family and life. In our Lemko village, we have three children, with a loving addition in the form of a group of pets: Masha the dog, and cats Maja and Marian. I work in a music school and my husband is a psychologist, coach and mentor in business. Together, we conduct personal development classes here. First of all, we invite you to rest. Spiritual experiences will be provided by wilderness, nature and a home-like atmosphere.
