Welcome to Skiturowa Chata with a view of Skrzyczne. We broadcast to you from Szczyrk and it is here that we invite all sports enthusiasts and those who cannot imagine rest without activity. We don't lie belly up here. In the winter, we reach the peaks on ski tours, in the summer we climb up the hill on electric bikes. We are bursting with energy, but only the good kind, we share our knowledge and skills with those who want to see the mountains from a different perspective. During the week (from Sunday evening to Friday morning) we offer the two-story apartment exclusively to those who want privacy and do not need guides. You rule as you like, and we do not stick our nose in your vacation. Of course, we are always at your fingertips or by phone, and if you want to, we will take you to the mountains, rent your skis or bikes, guide you to great routes and train you. You can also walk around the area on your own, lie on the terraces, listen to the noise of the stream flowing through the plot of land, watch the stars, and when you run out of things to do, go to the centre of Szczyrk. Weekends are dedicated to our sports activities. Every weekend in June, July, August and September, we organize e-mountain trail biking courses, i.e. riding on electric mountain bikes, and as soon as the first snow falls, we go skiing. Then Skiturowa Chata turns into a mountain chalet and we divide it into rooms for course participants. So there is a shared kitchen and living room with a terrace, shared bathrooms and shared trips to the mountains. On Saturday and Sunday, we will go to the mountains for a few hours. We will show you what it is all about, why ski tours are slower than downhill skis, what is cool about electric bikes, we will cover the most beautiful routes of the Silesian Beskids and we will have a great time. You are in the good hands of a licensed instructor of the Polish Ski Association. Everything can be done calmly, you don't have to pedal like Maja Włoszczowska to feel like Rafał Majka. What is the electric motor in bicycles for? However, it should be remembered that an e-bike is not a bike that will go up the mountain for you. You have to pedal, but you can ease up on the effort, turn on the power steering and reach the peak you never dreamed of. This is what is beautiful. It is different with ski tours, everything is in your hands or rather your legs, but we can handle that as well. You just need to be able to ride a plough and brake efficiently on skis. We'll show you the rest. We invite you with slightly bigger kids, parents, grandparents, grandmothers, husbands and wives, boys and girls. Our courses are absolutely for everyone, and the house is open to families and friends. We will fully adapt to your condition and possibilities. Pack your comfortable clothes, provisions and come on in, we invite you.

Tomasz
Supposedly I wasn't born with skis on my feet, but the emotions associated with skiing have accompanied me from an early age. The first time my parents took me to Kasprowy Wierch at the age of 4, they had an ambitious plan to go down together. It turned out that the dense fog helped me plough down from the top. Unaware of the height and the surrounding mountain abyss, to the amazement of my parents, I went all the way down to Kuźnice itself. Since then, I have skis on my feet more than boots. Today, as a SITN-PZN downhill skiing instructor and owner of the Active Tourism Office, I make sure that the participants of my trainings and trips do not lack positive emotions. I am a man of action and I cannot sit still, still feeling unsatisfied with the mountains. Numerous courses, trainings and ski-touring and cycling trips allowed me to gain knowledge about keeping safe in the mountains in winter and summer. On the other hand, thanks to medical education, I understand perfectly well that movement and close contact with nature is the best recipe for a healthy life and achieving inner harmony. So you are in safe hands. I invite you to the Silesian Beskids. Here you will take your first steps on cross-touring skis and ascend the peaks on electric mountain bikes. Everything under the watchful eye of the modest person of your instructor, i.e. me. See you in Skiturowa Chata!

It is a house at the heights (600 m above sea level) on the southern slope of the valley, along which the buildings of Szczyrk and the view of Skrzyczne stretch. There are five separate bedrooms in the house, so it will be comfortable for two friendly families who want to spend time together, but have the comfort of separate floors, kitchenettes and bathrooms. The house consists of two parts that can be treated as independent. The lowest floor is a separate apartment, which can be opened to the rest of the house (shared staircase - spiral staircase) or entered from the outside. Level zero (a separate apartment, but connected with the rest of the house) consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette. On the first level there is a living room with a fireplace and TV, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a toilet. From the living room you can go straight to the huge observation deck, from which there is a wonderful view of the Szczyrk valley. In winter you can watch skiers on the slopes and in summer it is an ideal place for sunbathing. The second and third levels are also a sleeping area (e.g. for a friendly family). Here, every corner except the chimney is wooden. There is a small bathroom finished in larch (shared for guests) and three bedrooms. The "Room with a balcony" is for 2-3 people and is located on the 1st floor. The room has a double bed and a single bed. The room leads directly to the balcony, from which there is a breathtaking view of the panorama of Szczyrk. "Room with a recess" is designed for 2-3 people and is also located on the 1st floor. We equipped it with two doubles. The main sleeping area of this room is located in a special niche with a sloping ceiling above it, so be careful with your heads. "Room in the top" is a small bedroom on the 2nd floor, intended for two people - physically fit and not suffering from fear of heights (narrow wooden stairs lead here). The room has large slants and 2 single beds. From the window of the gable room there is an amazing view of the valley. The house is surrounded by a large (1600 m2), charming plot of land located near the forest, through which a mountain stream flows.

What will I eat?

If they ask me if we provide food and stuff, I will answer both yes and no. A roof over your head, comfortable beds and a fireplace are waiting for you, but we don't serve meals. You can cook, cook and make sandwiches to go. At your disposal is a fully equipped shared kitchen and dining room at Skiturowa Chata. If you do not want to cook, which is understandable after a day in the mountains, you can take advantage of the culinary offer of Szczyrk. You can order food with delivery or eat in nearby restaurants. We recommend: Freeride Bar, Markowa Distillery, Kaprys Bar and Green Pub. During our cycling and ski-tour courses and trips, we burn huge amounts of calories and lose large amounts of water from the body. Of course, these are only advantages, but you have to remember about provisions. Taking a 1.5 liter bottle of water is absolutely essential. It is the same with eating. Energy bar, sandwich, chocolate, these delicacies should be carried with you during each trip. Remember to pack the calories in your backpack.

With or without great condition, with a passion for sports or with a slight distance to active recreation. I will make sure that you get infected with your passion for e-bikes and skitours. My knowledge of the topography of the Beskids, which I gained in practice from an early age, allowed me to discover hundreds of places located far from the beaten tracks and ski slopes. We will go up and ski in the snow, climb easily and slide down the hill on the claws. Touring and e-mountain biking courses are for everyone. For retirees, kids, singles, couples, good old marriages, moms with daughters and dads with kids. Our youngest participant in the ski trip was 9 years old. When snow is played in Szczyrk, when the white duvet is melting, I get on the bike. For a couple of years now it has been a full suspension electric mountain bike (shock absorbers at the rear and front). If you have not ridden a mountain electrician yet, you will definitely be there soon, because it is an increasingly popular sneak peek. Especially if you want to ride in the mountains. While when riding on flat terrain, an electric bike does not revolutionize cycling, in the mountains it is a completely different story. It helps the less fit to reach places where they would never have had a chance in their life. There are no impossible routes for us on electric bikes. Up to the shelter on Skrzyczne and downhill along paths specially built for this purpose (Enduro Trails). Trip by bike from Szczyrk to the shelter in Klimczok, Szyndzielnia or Błatnia - why not, no problem. Remember that an e-bike is not a bike that will go up the mountain for you. You have to pedal, but you can dose yourself the amount of effort. So, every weekend in June, July, August and September, I invite you to e-bike courses organized by me. The maximum number of participants is 6 people. And in winter you know it's skiing. As soon as snow falls in the Beskids, we put on skis and every weekend we organize ski-tour courses at all levels. Ski touring courses for beginner groups that we organize in the Beskids are an opportunity to experience a great adventure, experience a lot of exercise and close contact with mountain nature. During the weekend course you will learn, among others, handling of ski touring equipment, how to distribute strength during ascents and choose the pace, how to choose the direction of the passage, how to traverse steep slopes, where to make safe stops or how to adopt the correct ski position during the descent You do not have to be experienced skiers, but the ability to plow and stop efficiently at skis is required. During the descents, we most often use groomed blue slopes with a gentle slope. Both during bicycle trips and ski-touring trips to the mountains, the following are waiting for you: - On Saturday, a training trip 4-5 hours. - On Sunday, another 4-5 hour training trip. On site, you will find skiing and cycling equipment, a ski room and me - your guide and instructor.

What’s there for children?

The kids, under the supervision of their parents and an experienced instructor, will spread their wings on skis. Until now, our youngest participant was a nine-year-old. If you walk with your child in the mountains in summer and he or she can ski, our ski touring course may be a great idea for an active and family time in the mountains. I run courses at every level, so even absolute beginners will be able to experience an amazing adventure in the mountains. We always adjust the pace of approach to the slowest participant in the group. To participate in the training, all you need is basic skiing skills. The minimum required from participants is the ability to drive confidently, the so-called plow and smooth stopping on skis. You do not need to be an advanced skier - during the descents, we most often use groomed blue slopes with a gentle slope.

Polecam serdecznie

Wspaniałe miejsce!! Byliśmy tam z przyjaciółmi już dwa razy i jesteśmy zachwyceni! Na pewno będziemy wracać :)

Magiczne miejsce z przytulnym, domowym i odrobinę oldschoolowym klimatem. Dom w pełni wyposażony i ciepły, a kawa z ekspresu smakuje cudownie. Lokalizacja: do głównej drogi biegnącej wzdłuż Szczyrku ok. 5 min. spacerkiem, do ścisłego centrum jak i w przeciwnym kierunku, do ośrodka narciarskiego Szczyrk Mountain Resort ok. 20 min. Polecam Skiturową Chatę każdemu, kto szuka klimatycznych zakątków, lubi drewno i nie przeszkadza mu senny odgłos współlokatora zza ściany. :-) Pozdrawiam serdecznie Panie Tomaszu i mam nadzieję, że do zobaczenia kiedyś.
