The smell of spruce and pine trees, the sun setting behind a wall of trees, the rustle of the forest in the morning. And on top of that a beautiful house in the vicinity of a stream and wild Lake Kośno. This is Utasiówka in a nutshell.
It all began with the fact that we liked to escape to the Warmia and Masuria region. We rented various houses, and it was always beautiful, but we had a desire to immerse ourselves in the forest completely. Not near the forest, but in the heart of it. You can probably guess what happened next. The place was beautiful, the idea for the house was beautiful too. And that's how we ended up here in the middle of the woods, on the edge of the Napiwodzko-Ramucka Forest. This is our cure for city tiredness, our treatment, which we recommend to both ourselves and everyone who longs for the closeness of greenery.
In a new, spacious house inspired by traditional Masurian architecture. It is surrounded by forest on three sides. On the ground floor of Utasiówka there is a living area, which consists of a living room with a fireplace, a dining room and an open kitchen. There is also a bedroom with a bed for one person. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms with double beds. The house has two bathrooms with a shower - one downstairs, the other upstairs. The living room opens onto a large terrace, which is ideal as a place for a family barbecue or morning coffee.
The house is for you and the kitchen too. We have taken care of all the necessary equipment (fridge, dishwasher, oven, induction hob, mixer, toaster, kettle). There is also a coffee machine and sets of dishes and pots. We have taken care of the details so that you feel at home. There are three places nearby where you can eat well. The closest is Restauracja pod Kogutem in Tylkowo (about 3 km from the house). It is run by travelers, so in addition to regional dishes you can also try various interesting flavors inspired by their expeditions. The second place is Karczma Mazurska in Witów, about 18 km away. They cook regionally, seasonally and without enhancers. It is also worth visiting the Traditional Warmińska Smoking House, which invites all fish lovers and feeds them deliciously not only with smoked meats - see for yourself.
The main advantage of Utasiówka is its location on the edge of the forest. The terrace itself, overlooking the endless forest, offers many opportunities to relax. Depending on the time of the day, it becomes a place to taste morning coffee, evening family barbecues or soothing meditation. The vicinity of the house is a nature reserve that encourages long walks and relaxation. It is worth taking advantage of a bit of Masurian wildness that we managed to find by this virgin lake and simply enjoy the beauty of nature. Lake Kośno, which is covered by the silence zone, is less than 1.5 km away. There is a blue bicycle and walking trail around it, which we highly recommend to your attention. Canoeing trips with beautiful routes (on the river and Lake Kośno) are also organized in the area. We will be happy to suggest you a local organizer.
What’s there for children?
We welcome children of all ages. The biggest attraction here is nature. A stream flowing in the area, a forest and a wild lake. Children usually only need a vivid imagination to complete this set, and they usually can't complain about that. You can spend whole days here in the fresh air. With your parents, you can go on hiking, cycling or kayaking trips, which we provide. Small children will not get lost while playing around the house, because our entire large plot is fenced.
For the youngest, we have a cot, which we provide at the request of guests. And for the evenings and cloudy days, lots of games for both younger and older ones!
What’s there for employees?
If you want to get a taste of working in soothing conditions, we invite you to our work. The table in the dining room is perfect for working together for up to six people. If you prefer to work with your feet up, spread out in the living room on the sofas, armchair or pouffe, and the bedroom upstairs with a comfortable armchair will provide privacy when you are having an important conversation. On the terrace on warm days you can work at a large table or on comfortable armchairs in the garden, and in our forest you can relax in a hammock. The internet is not great, but the area is, so if a decent connection and delightful Masurian conditions are enough for you, do not wait and book a date.
