Our homestead was built in 1900, and the barn was built three years later. We renovated - first the house, then the barn - to not lose their long history. A place with such character deserves care. It repays us with silence interrupted by bird chatter, the smell of the forest and the croaking of frogs coming from the pond.
We adopted the barn as a place of idyllic rest. Anyone who has ever had a coffee on its terrace surrounded by flowers knows why our friends urged us to share this place with others.
You can cut yourself off from the rest of the world with ease and spend a few days in slow motion with us. We invite you.
Where will I stay?
In the restored barn (Ptasie Trele 1), we have two separate, lockable bedrooms with double beds. There's also a fold-out sofa in the living room. The house is spacious and comfortable. Perfect for families of 2+2! But it can also accommodate 5 people. On the ground floor, in the living area, there's a fireplace, perfect for spending cooler evenings.
In Ptasie Trele 2, we also have two separate, lockable bedrooms with comfortable double beds (which can be converted into single beds). There's also a fold-out sofa in the living room. The house is spacious and comfortable. Perfect for families of 2+2! But there's also room for 5 people :) On the ground floor, in the living area, there's a fireplace, perfect for spending cooler evenings.
Both houses have large, covered terraces. Perfect for relaxing and sharing meals.
And of course, we invite you to join us for a workation! You can easily video chat with us on our webcam, check emails, and send larger attachments. For those working in this way, we have a wonderful oak console table overlooking the meadow in the room in Ptasie Trele 2, a table in the dining room, and a table on the terrace. In Ptasie Trele 1, we have a huge table in the fireplace room, a table on the terrace, and an oak console table on the mezzanine.
What about food?
The surrounding forests invite you to pick berries and mushrooms. If you enjoy outdoor cooking, we encourage you to use the cauldron, light a fire, or grill.
In Jerutki, near the Kreolia Foundation, the atmospheric Bulwar Inn serves delicious regional cuisine. The ladies of Jerutki cook there, and everything is fresh, delicious, and, importantly, at very attractive prices. You can eat in or order takeout. If necessary, we can deliver meals to our guests. The restaurant is open seasonally, starting at the beginning of the summer holidays.
We also highly recommend Niebieski Zaułek and the Mazuriana restaurant in Szczytno. Like Gospoda, they serve delicious local cuisine.
How to spend time?
In our area:
- an intimate SPA (sauna and jacuzzi) perfect for a reset under the stars at any time of the year;)
- WONDERFUL guitar and vocal concerts as perfect gifts, variety of the evening or gifts / surprises ... the quality of the arrangement is guaranteed
- a large pond where you can fish (and then generously spare their lives)
- own beach with sea sand
- badminton pitch and equipment
- hammocks suspended in a birch grove,
- SUP board for swimming on the pond
- bicycles, balls, deckchairs
- places for a bonfire: one right next to the barn, the other by the pond, Bird trele 2 have their own separate place for a bonfire / grill
- a house for children
- Wi-Fi in Ptasie trele 1 and Ptasie trele 2, also working on the terrace .. and at your request it may not be there at all :)
In walking distance from Ptasie trle:
- the beach on Lake Marksoby, completely covered by the silence zone
- a wonderful forest full of mushrooms
- bicycle routes leading through the forest and around the lake
- 5 minutes walk is to the headquarters of the Kreolia Foundation, which organizes regular concerts, theater performances, exhibitions and workshops during the season
A little further:
- Krutynia kayaking (starts in Ukta, 35 minutes by car from the habitat), we will gladly recommend the organizers
- Szczytno (7 km), where it is worth seeing the ruins of the 14th-century Teutonic castle, learning about the history of the city and the surrounding area in the Masurian Museum and looking for the Szczycieńskie Pofajdoki, small gnomes, which have become the new symbol of the village. Architecture enthusiasts will also love to see the Evangelical church from the second half of the 19th century. 15th century, rebuilt in the 18th century in the baroque style. What's more, the person of Krzysztof Klenczon, a member of the cult band Czerwone Gitary, is associated with Szczytno. In the municipal park there is his monument and the pub "Gama", which is dedicated to the artist. Concerts by Polish and foreign artists take place on the last weekend of July as part of the Days and Nights of Szczytna.
Is it kid-friendly?
In the air you can play football (there are also small goals) or badminton. The pond is a separate world - kids like to feed the fish from the pier and watch the croaking frogs. In summer, the attraction is the splashing of the nearby lake, which is crossed by a scenic path through the forest. There is a lot of space around the barn (3 hectares) - there will be plenty of places to play, you can let your imagination run wild and learn the secrets of the meadows every day.
For the youngest children, we have a cot and a feeding chair with a set of plastic cutlery.

Wspaniałe miejsce, któremu nic nie brakuje. Z dala od wszystkich, cisza, spokój, piękny ogród, tuż przy lesie. Domek bardzo ładnie urządzony. Polecam każdemu, kto szuka wytchnienia na pięknych Mazurach!

Fantastyczne miejsce na odpoczynek, pozwala się wyłączyć i zresetować w otoczeniu przyrody i śpiewu ptaków. Piękna okolica na wycieczki rowerowe. Bardzo miły gospodarz, wszystko świetnie przygotowane, miłym dodatkiem był szampan i jaja wiejskie.

Niezwykle klimatyczne i urokliwe miejsce. Dla każdego coś miłego. Budzisz się z pięknym widokiem i on już zostaje na długo. Dom bardzo wygodny,czysty i zaopatrzony we wszystko o czym pomyślisz. Niezależnie czy chcecie odpocząć od miejskiego zgiełku czy chcecie mieć dobrą bazę wypadową do zwiedzania Mazur to będzie dobry wybór. Domek jest świetnie wyposażony a gospodarz bardzo sympatyczny i uczynny. Szczerze polecam.

Wynajmowaliśmy domek i wszystko było naprawdę super! Domek ma wszystko, co potrzebne do wygodnego pobytu. Gospodarz jest bardzo przyjazny i we wszystkim nam pomagał. Zostawił nam też małe poczestunki, co było bardzo miłe :) Na podwórku również jest wszystko, czego potrzeba do odpoczynku. Dodatkowy plus – przesympatyczny labrador, bardzo wesoły i kochany pies! Można też łowić ryby. Wszystko było po prostu świetne, bardzo polecamy

Cudowne miejsce. Marzenie o uwolnieniu myśli zostało spełnione. Wypoczynek przeszedł nasze najśmielsze oczekiwania. Marzyłyśmy o ciszy, zieleni, spokoju, swobodzie, obcowaniu z naturą. Miejsce urokliwe, klimatyczne, pachnące świężą miętą i ciepłą drożdżówką. Zbyszek zawsze gotowy do pomocy. Wychodził na przeciw wszystkim naszym zachciankom. Klimatyczny wystrój wnętrza, dbałość o detale, kominek i zimne prosecco ukoiły nasze nadszarpnięte całotygodniową pracą nerwy. Śmiało można przyjechać bez niczego- do dyspozycji ręczniki,szlafroki,suszarka,żelazko,przyprawy,kawa,herbata. Na pewno wrócimy jeszcze raz pod mazurskie gwiazdy.

Ptasie Trele to wspaniałe miejsce do odpoczynku. Domek spełniał wszytskie potrzeby a widok z tarasu koił i otulał. Zbyszek gospodarz był bardzo pomocny, pomógł rozpalić kominek, udostępnił rowery a wieczorem przygotował ognisko. Cały czas czuwał, żeby niczego nam nie zabrakło a jednoczesnie czuliśmy dużą swobodę i prywatność. Miejsce jest wyjątkowe a cała okolica przepiękna. Polecam serdecznie!

How do I get there?
By car

Coming from Szczytno, in Jerutki, turn left, pass a white church on the left, keep an eye on the sidewalk on the left... this is important;) because when the sidewalk ends on the left, you have to take the second exit to the left... a bit gently... and the first entrance on the left is already Ptasie Trele;) and to Ptasie Trele 2, take the first, sharp turn to the left at the end of the sidewalk... and after 200 meters, take the first road to the right... and the house already welcomes you with blue shutters:)
