At a glance

Dom Sokolik is a 230-year-old U-formed farmhouse located in Trzcińsk on the edge of Rudawy
Janowickie, at the foot of the Karkonosze Mountains and overlooking the mountain Sokolik.
The owner, a Dutchman, restored this farmhouse using the finest natural materials to give it thecharm and identity of a country estate. There are two ponds, a stream and a river nearby.
In every corner of the house, on the walls, on the chests of drawers, you will find period decorationsand accessories that he personally found at flea markets.

You will be surrounded by 13 hectares of fields, forests and hills. You can stay in one of the apartments, studios or rooms, rent the entire house or, to be even closerto nature, pitch a tent or park a caravan or camper on one of our green fields. Whatever you choose, we guarantee that your morning coffee will taste best outdoors. You can eat also your breakfast or dinner on a table in a old barn or on one of our other gardensets.

Come and enjoy the silence, open spaces and beautifull views.
Welcome to Dom Sokolik.

The farmhouse has been lovingly restored over the past decade by its owner, Naut Kusters, with great respect for the character of the original building and the beautiful landscape surrounding it. Originally from the Netherlands, Naut has worked for many years with environmental organisations promoting sustainable development in rural areas. He first came to Lower Silesia in 1993 through an EU project promoting agrotourism and quickly fell in love with the romantic countryside and historic villages of the Jelenia Góra Valley. Over the years, he carefully transformed the old farmhouse into the welcoming rural retreat you see today, preserving its authentic character while giving it a new life. Today, Chi Nguyen, our host, lives onsite with her partner Jurrien, their two-year-old daughter Aivy and Plex, their friendly dog. Chi speaks English, Dutch and Vietnamese and is your host during your stay, happy to share local tips and help you feel at home. We hope you enjoy the farmhouse, the surrounding nature and the slower rhythm of rural life that makes this corner of Lower Silesia so special.

Perfect stay for remote workers, nature lovers, and climbers! My partner, our dog, and I stayed at Dom Sokolik for almost two weeks for a remote work trip, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. As remote workers, reliable internet is crucial for us, and the connection here was flawless - we were easily able to hold two simultaneous HD video calls with zero issues. Our room was incredibl...

Mimo wszystko doskonała lokalizacja do aktywnego wypoczynku.

Apartament miał wszystko, czego oczekiwałam (a nawet więcej!).

Duża przestrzeń - wielka wspólna jadalnia, miejsce na ognisko, w każdym zakątku podwórka stoliki, krzesła, leżaki do siedzenia, obok staw, świetne trasy rowerowe i spacerowe w okolicy. Przemili gospodarze!
