At a glance
The history of this house actually begins in a different place than where it stands today. Behind the fields and forests, three villages and two churches, there was a church a hundred years ago. The rectory building was also erected next to it. He served its inhabitants sincerely until the 1950s, when the Polish People's Republic took it over to turn it into a school. It was then that he was moved to the village of Siemichocze. Generations of inhabitants wrote math cards there and learned all provinces by heart. Then fourteen, then forty-nine (tragedy).
At the end of the 90s, the former presbytery and ex-school retired. A few years ago, we bought the building from the commune and restored it to its former character. If you pay attention, you will see the signs of the times in it. For example, stones in the wooden floor of the living room. These are places where walls and tiled stoves stood - houses were built in such a way that it was possible to run around. Today the layout is a bit different, and this is one of the few changes we've made there.
