From the perspective of Leśniakówka, there is basically no difference between the Beskid Wyspowy and Costa Rica. Here and there it is so green you have to squint your eyes, there is a beautiful view of the foothills and a few people practising yoga or painting outdoors. It is in Poland, very creative and much safer.
We invite you to sleep in the house made of hundred-year-old logs, to sit in a fruit orchard where you can relax with a painting, to walk in the woods, to enjoy long talks over tea I made myself and to taste organic meals from our farm. We will be waiting for you here.
We have two houses and one small apartment for you.
HOUSE UNDER THE FOREST - for 5 guests
On the ground floor there is a living room with a fireplace, a double bed, a piano, a kitchen and a bathroom. The first floor accommodated two independent bedrooms with balconies (double bed, 3 single beds). In front of the house there is a terrace overlooking the organic plum orchard and forest.
THE OLD CARRIAGE HOUSE - for 13 guests
The ground floor is a 90-meter living room with a fireplace and panoramic windows overlooking the forest. There is also a kitchen, bathroom and sauna. On the first floor you will find 5 rooms: 2 x 2-person, 2 x 4-person, 1 x 1-person, as well as a second bathroom. In front of the house there is a terrace and a place for a bonfire.
APARTMENT OVER THE GALLERY - for 2/3 guests
A cozy apartment with a large double bed, a sofa, a bathroom and a kitchenette.
Our houses and the apartment above the gallery have their own kitchens or annexes. However, you can ask us to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am also happy to share addresses to local farmers with rural products. Leśniakówka is a certified, ecological farm. This means that many of the things that you will get to eat here were grown by us and grew at the pace that vegetables, fruits or herbs thought best.
Breakfasts consist of country breads, real butter, homemade cottage cheese, fresh eggs and honey from our own 100-year-old apiary. I also put my own preserves from the eco-orchard in Leśniak and hand-squeezed juices on the table. Sometimes I will also make omelettes, loved not only by children.
Our dinners are always two-course, made with heart and skill by Maria Królowa Pszczół - Grandma Marysia. Our homemade dumplings have been distinguished and described in the Japanese guide to Poland. We also offer veal goulash, duck in apple and veggie dishes.
Dinners - as well as breakfasts - are in the form of a buffet. However, we try to serve something hot in the evening.
We have so much room for creativity and such an intensive therapy with the colors of refreshing green that no one is ever bored here. We will always be happy to tell you what to do when you come to us.
From Leśniakówka you can set off, for example:
- to the monastery in Szczyrzyc with an old park layout,
- to the astronomical observatory in Lubomir, from which two comets were discovered; you can visit the observatory and go further from there to the Kudłacze hostel,
- on the trails of the Beskid Wyspowy or in Gorce,
- to the ski slope,
- on the paths of the Niepołomice Forest,
- on the bicycle route around Czorsztyn and rafting on the Dunajec River,
- a 12 km walk along the Forget-me-not trail, in the footsteps of mysterious burial mounds,
In case of an urgent need to visit, we are quite close:
- Wieliczka,
- Niepołomice Castle,
- Bochnia (with a salt mine and an archaeological park),
- Wadowice,
- Lanckorona, the most creative town near Krakow,
- Krakow itself.
What’s there for children?
We look at children's gangs understandingly, with a smile. We stop if Leśniakówka is already being demolished.
What’s there for employees?
For workshops or joint work, I provide 150 m² of space in the Hektary Sztuki gallery. The place is open all year round, with underfloor heating, with a raised stage with a piano. We regularly host yoga, artistic and business groups.
