There are a few things you should do before you die. And we added to this list: to see the sunset over Barania Góra and the morning fog slowly rising from the Glinka stream. Such wonders here - on the Wajdowy Gronie in Beskid Żywiecki, where Babia Góra reigns, salamanders pass under your feet and you sleep in bedding fragrant forest. Our houses stand on the "Wajdowy Groń" at an altitude of 621 meters above sea level - the pass separating Ujsoły from the further part of the Glinka stream valley.
View - believe me - firecracker. It is no coincidence that right next to it there is a 19th-century stone chapel, erected by a highlander in thanks for a happy return from the war. From here you can see Barania Góra, the mighty Muńcoła massif, Jaworzyna, which is part of the main ridge of the Beskid Żywiecki, along the border with Slovakia and the mouth of the Cicha Valley. The old road from Ujsoły led this way down the valley until a quarry was built in the 1950s. The old road was completely forgotten, overgrown with grass and practically ceased to exist. We recreated this path (literally) to have access to the houses.
However, it is not always such an idyll, sometimes a horse gallops before our eyes, chasing deer for fun, and the roar of a deer will cut the mountain silence - but we agree to it, because nature plays first fiddle here. This is where my dream came true, when in winter I set up a ski tour in front of the house and went to Krawców Wierch to the shelter and then returned home with a long downhill ride. It is worth doing a few such things before you die ...

We are on-site, we want to get to know our guests better (always ready to talk and participate)
I am a sailor (I have spent over 20 years at sea) but I fell in love with the mountains and stayed here. Fortunately, my wife not only understood but also shared this love and we often went hiking together. When our children became independent, we started to implement the "mountain" plan - we sold an apartment in Cieszyn, bought land in Glinka and built a house. And then two more to be able to invite friends, mountain lovers and those who just want to rest.
I climbed the mountains back and forth, scraped my soles and hands on sharp ascents (I won Glosglockner in Austria, Triglav in Slovenia, I climbed many times in the Tatras with Poles and Slovaks, in Paklenica-Croatia, I took a summer and winter mountaineering course at the Dusana climbing school Zajac-Słowaka and with great passion, I climbed in the Dolomites - I scored the most difficult via ferratas, eg Constantini, Alligessi to Civetta) and therefore I wholeheartedly encourage you to see for yourself what a great adventure on mountain trails is.
In our close vicinity, we know exceptional places (and we will tell you how to find them), the food here also tastes exceptional and makes you sleep even more. Come and see for yourself. Chromcówka invites you to its modest, mountain thresholds.

Our houses are identical - they are distinguished by several details, such as a picture in the living room, a hanger in the hall. Each house has two bedrooms (the larger one with a double bed and a single bed, and the smaller one with two single beds), a kitchen, a living room, and a bathroom.
