From West Altai to Great Chingan, it's just the home we call glamping. Modern European nomads expect comfort, hence glam, but also like to rest in nature, so a combination with camping. It was from the Mongolian and Turkish peoples that we borrowed yurts. Year-round tents where you can watch the stars from the bedside, cook not only in Asian style and rest in a harmonious 5-person group. The only difference is that the doors of the Mongolian yurt face south, the Kazakh door facing the east, and ours facing the Jizera. The 3 colorful houses are situated at the end of a large plot, right next to the pond and at a safe distance from our house. They have a view of the Izera Foothills with the ruins of the Gryf Castle and the chapel hill of the von Schaffgotsch family in Proszówka. So, on the one hand, we have the Izery, and on the other, forests, fields, meadows and hills. In the back, our guest house, Dom w Home. The 200-year-old silk weavers' house, where we invite you for breakfast, for parties by the fireplace and for dispelling boredom in the library. You can also cut off absolutely and, in the company of the Dark Sky of the Jizera Mountains, cook on your own, wander around, read on the terrace and watch the stars through a telescope. Take your hiking boots and off you go. Izerbaijan is waiting, we are waiting.

Here Slowhop will describe your place

Dom w Domu and Izera Glamping are the fulfilment of our dreams. Probably many "about us" posts start like this. But Dom w Domu is not just a name. As a result of renovations, the century-old house has changed and the old walls are now inside. So there is a 200-year-old house in the new house. It is also a metaphor. We want you to feel at home with us. So that you are comfortable, enjoy delicious food and have a good rest. Since autumn 2020, the guesthouse has been joined by a luxury glamping site in the garden - Izera Glamping - year-round tents - yurts. It started in a typical way. We lived in a big city. After many travels, difficult family experiences and the birth of children, we came to the conclusion that life is too short to live in a cement city, where there is smog in winter, terrible heat from the asphalt in summer, and children do not have a safe place to play with a large green area. Working for a corporation and not for ourselves, however, does not give us so much satisfaction. We have travelled the world a lot, seen a lot, discovered exciting places. Today, at the age of 30, we know that Poland is just as beautiful and we want to live here and enjoy everyday life. We are not going to wait for the kids to "grow up". We are changing our city life into country life, and we want to provide our guests with a good, comfortable rest with delicious, natural food from our garden and farmers we know. We look forward to seeing you. Ania and Paweł and Tomek and Igor.

In the Jizera Foothills with a view of Stóg, in Mongolian yurts with quite European equipment. Three cottages with private access to the stars are located on the same, large plot as our guesthouse House in the House. At the end of the plot, next to the pond, with a view of the Jizera range. The distance from the house is safe enough that we won't get in each other's way, and pleasant enough that you can drop by for breakfast in the morning in your slippers. To which we cordially invite you. There is an intimate SPA for the soul and body: a dry sauna (traditional), a steam bath, an open-air jacuzzi on the terrace and a chilling relaxation area. The spa is available every evening and is included in the price of your stay. Each yurt is designed for 4 people plus a child. The configuration is up to you, but you better be a good team, because there is nothing to hide in the yurt. The layout of each house is the same, only the decor differs, so choose the one that suits you best. We can choose from red, green and blue. The area of each yurt is 35 m2, and in front of each there is a large terrace. In the middle of the yurt, under a glass roof, there is a double bed 180x200 with a view of the sky, and near the wall there is a solid bunk bed, which is also for adults (lower and upper bed, each up to 120 kg). The mattresses are Japanese futons - natural, ecological, ensuring a very good sleep. Additionally, you will find a modern bathroom with a shower and an equipped kitchenette, a large table with chairs, two comfortable armchairs with a coffee table, a chest of drawers with shelves and hangers, a bookcase, and a storage room for suitcases under the bed. Towels, bed linen, coffee and tea are provided. The yurts are heated with a modern heat pump, providing heat down to minus 15 C, and with an additional heater in the bathroom. In summer they are cooled by air conditioning. Due to the changeable weather and mountain mud, please bring comfortable shoes for walking in the tents. Yurt guests usually have full access to the House's infrastructure (children's playroom, guides, maps, leaflets, library, board games, coffee corner, paid breakfasts and paid minibar). Access is limited if we rent the entire House for one group.

What will I eat?

Cooking in a yurt is something unique. There is no need to use Turkish and Mongolian recipes, although classic yurts from those areas know the aromas of these specialties. Ours are equipped with all the achievements of modern civilization and you can prepare scrambled eggs, pork chops or broth, and if you want, pilav and mezze. The kitchenette has: an induction hob, a fridge, a kettle, a coffee machine with free coffee and tea, and dishes. The best thing about holidays is that you don't have to do anything, and this also applies to cooking. If stirring pots is not your thing, come visit us at Home at Home. We will pamper you with local delicacies, rich breakfasts, and with the first lark, we will stimulate you with the smell of fresh bread and aromatic coffee. So come visit us and we will be happy to feed you. We serve hearty breakfasts in the form of a buffet from 8:00 to 10:00. Children will always find something they like to eat. Even the pickiest eaters eat until their ears tremble. On selected days of the week we serve 2-course dinners with home-made compote. We serve them at 17-18, in low season from Tuesday to Saturday, winter holidays, June and September 1-15 from Monday to Saturday, and every day during holidays and long weekends. When ordering dinner, we add a discount to the reservation! It is possible to order meals in nearby restaurants/bistros. They will be delivered by one of the three restaurants we cooperate with.

You will find us in the buffer zone of the Dark Sky Park, so you can watch the stars through the skylight in the yurt, and from the terraces the entire outstanding area. There is a pond at hand and a view of the ruins of the Gryf Castle and the chapel hill of the von Schaffgotsch family in Proszówka. So on the one hand, we have the Izery, and on the other, forests, fields, meadows and hills. You can stay completely nowhere and spend the whole day in the garden, soaking the fishing rod in a pond or nap in a hammock under a fruit tree, and when you have rest, go on the route. When you want to relax, visit the Intimate SPA in the evening, with: - sauna dry (traditional) with a temperature of 90-100 degrees C, - a steam room with 100% humidity and a temperature of 45 degrees C, - outdoor jacuzzi with hot water and bubbles - an ideal place to relax and observe the sky, - a relaxation area with a 300 kg wall salt, - relaxing massages arranged on request. The intimate SPA is waiting for you every evening - free of charge. We know what's up in the grass, where to go, what to see, where to eat and what routes to cover. We are happy to advise you on how to plan your day or go on a trip by bike or car. A small foretaste of the avalanche of attractions that await in the vicinity of Gajówka: - bicycle routes of the Izerskie Foothills, - walking, running and Nordic walking routes, - horse riding in Gajówka and ceramic workshops, - walks among the wild Rębiszów Ponds, - old mine in Rębiszów, - tenement ridge of the Izera Mountains - walks along designated routes in the secluded part of the Izera Mountains, - bicycle singles on the Polish side in Świeradów Zdrój and on the Czech side of Nove Mesto pod Smerkiem, - Świeradów Zdrój, which is a health resort with the longest larch pump room in Poland, is only a 15-minute drive from us. It is just a prelude to attractions and entertainment, both small and large. However, the most important thing in Gajówka is peace, it is it that creates an unusual microclimate and makes you sleep deeper, and simple food tastes delicious. At your disposal are also all the amenities of our Guest House (access is limited when the whole House is rented to one group). So we have prepared a few corners for you that will dispel boredom in the rain for a while, integrate and diversify long autumn evenings. - a playroom and games room for children and adults, - bookcase, - a rack with numerous promotional materials: tourist leaflets, maps, books about the area, etc., - a multimedia room with Xbox kinect and TV 55 "and access to movies and series online, - retro games for Nintendo.

What’s there for children?

According to us and our children, there is no bad weather, only badly dressed children. Our boys bravely march around the Jizera Mountains, help in the garden, go to the beds to watch zucchini and strawberries grow, ride bikes and bury themselves in the mud. A walk through the swamps is a lot of fun, but pack your shoes for a disguise in your suitcase, because after the last adventures in the mud, we had to take Tom out of the shoes that got stuck. Our boys will be happy to take new companions under their arms, and we, as parents of little Tomek and Igor, know that safety is the most important thing in having a good time. Yurts are located in our Guest House, far from the roads, so the little ones can experience a real holiday in the countryside. In winter, there is a place to go sledding, make a snowman, go for a walk. There is a small sledge hill in the garden, so red noses and happy faces are guaranteed. During rain, blizzards and storms, we have a huge availability of fairy tales and series. We organize paper wicker workshops for happy groups, families, children and crazy teams, and in the surrounding places there are glass, ceramic, decoupage and bread baking workshops. We have for children: - playground with a house, slide, sandbox and swings, - zip-line, - trampoline, - orchard and meadow for fun and ball games, - multimedia room with Xbox and Nintendo.

If you like being close to nature, but sleeping on a mat and working with a flashlight is not your dream, you must try glamping. The yurt has a table, a sofa and an armchair in the lounge area. Or maybe you'll climb onto the bunk bed to be closer to the skylight in the roof? Our internet is fine. It's not a speed demon, but it's optimal for videoconferencing or downloading company files. We have 2 connections, so it always works both in the yurt and in every corner of the garden. After work, sit on the terrace with a cup of warm tea and enjoy the view of the mountains, pond and forests while sitting on comfortable armchairs. If you feel like changing the atmosphere at work, in the guest house you will find a living room with large tables and comfortable sofas. There will be a coffee machine and a supply of teas right next to it. As far as you can go :) You also have a coffee machine in the yurt. At your request, we will also print the necessary documents, just let us know. If the stay is paid for by the company, we will issue a VAT invoice for the entire stay including breakfast and other meals, so that it won't cost you anything :)

Świetne miejsce, wspaniali gospodarze! Cisza, spokój, utrzymane w najlepszym porządku udogodnienia w postaci sauny, łaźni, jacuzzi pod chmurką. Gospodarze poczęstowali nas świeżo wypieczonymi chałkami z masłem i pyszną nalewką porzeczkową.

Ach no i sama Gajówka to piękna wioska i spacery wokół po lasach i polach to czysty relaks, dzięki!
