We will not write here about the Szentiványi family, who did a lot of good work for Liptovský Ján. After all, thanks to a certain Jozef Gemerský Szentiványi, our Liptovský Ján became known as Svätojánske Teplice with baths and mineral water. We will not even write about Maťek and Kubek, instead you will get to know Liptov's heroes, friends Lukáš and Martin. As true Liptov citizens, they have Liptov through and through. And just as mineral springs bubble up under the surface of the land, so one day in the Jánská dolina, at a place under Poludnica hill, Bač's wooden house bubbled up in their minds.

Word gave word and we moved from thoughts and plans to action - although it was not easy. Sweat dripped from our foreheads, not only a hammer fell here and there, but also some swearing, but we succeeded. We built a wooden house in a traditional style with our own hands, which we are rightly proud of and we invite you to join us. We will certainly not deprive you of comfort. And from the attractions we have here! At least three on each finger. Believe me, not only those miraculous springs :) Feel free to ask, we will be happy to tell you where it is definitely worthwhile. And receive a little surprise from our sweet halves.

Everyday life revolves on the ground floor of the wooden house. Here in the living room you can chat on the sofas, one of which can accommodate 2 people as an extra bed. You can create a cozy atmosphere by heating up the tiled stove and directly from the living room you can go out to the terrace with seating. From the living room, just walk down the corridor past the wooden staircase and the bathroom and you will find yourself in the kitchen.

You will sleep in one of the 3 bedrooms on the first floor of the wooden house:
1st bedroom with two double beds (4 persons)
2nd bedroom with four single beds and one extra bed on a mattress in the attic, which can be reached by a wooden ladder (4+1)
3rd bedroom with a double bed, a single bed and a bunk bed (5 persons)

And just like on the ground floor, you will also find a bathroom with a toilet on the first floor.

Just as the entire wooden house will be yours, so will the kitchen - fully equipped and with a dining area. It is furnished with everything you need so that you can feel at home in Bačová Drevenica. In addition to all the basic things that belong to a proper kitchen, you will also find a Nespresso capsule coffee machine, a wine bar, or a goulash kettle.

We know that not all of you want to stand by the pots during your vacation or you may need help, so we highly recommend culinary services from our partner catering company #nevarsi proficatering.

We recommend all those with a sweet tooth to ask about honey from the beekeeper neighbor, Mr. Juraj, who lives across the road, about 20 m from us. If you like to go further afield for good local food, try heading to the center of Liptovský Mikuláš and the "shop-bakery-cafe" Moment (https://www.vmomente.sk/). Look forward to food from local suppliers, locally roasted coffee and fresh, high-quality bread.

If you decide to enjoy Slow Travel, you have ideal conditions here. There is a terrace for sitting with family and friends, in the summer use the fireplace, grill or deckchairs, which you can safely pull out into the middle of the yard. On cold and winter evenings, move to the living room, where you can warm your noses and cheeks, which are bitten by frost, with mulled wine and the warmth radiating from the tiled stove.

We think that we don't need to tell you about forest paths, picking berries and mushrooms. The surroundings of the wooden house will encourage you to do this. But we are always happy to advise you and give you suggestions if you can't choose from the many attractions of Liptov.

And to be clear, "robbing" in a hot tub with hot water and even under the open sky is certainly a very pleasant experience... You can find it on our terrace - arrange it with us in advance, we will prepare it for you for an extra fee and you can laze around. And if that's not enough and you want your skin to tingle from all the mineral pleasures, you can also head to the Teplica - Jánska Kaďa thermal spring. It is just a stone's throw from us :)

In case you want to move your bones and get your body moving...
just 700 m from us you will find a family riding area, where Natália and her experienced team will take care of you. Under their guidance, everyone will come to their senses, native Indians as well as small and timid Indian feathers. And if you say that you are from us, you will also get a discount. When you get moving, you might want to sit on another saddle, a bicycle saddle - we recommend that you smile at the guys from Smile Demänová and they can bring you top-quality mountain (e)bikes right to your door.

Oh, and it's cold. And here, whatever your hands and feet - and skis - will be enough. If you want to ski, there is a ski bus stop just 200 m from us, which will take you to the Jasná ski resort with more than 50 km of slopes.
I guess you understand that this is far from everything? ;)

You probably won't stop children from running outside all the time, even if they have candles hanging from their noses - our yard is perfect for that and is fenced. They will have plenty of space here to go crazy, chase or play football. In addition to the football goals, there is also a slide, a swing and a trampoline. In winter, bet on a ball game, building snowmen, or bunkers.

In the wooden house you will find board games, a children's corner and books.
And we have already mentioned the chickens of our neighbor, Mr. Peter. They use a few meters of undivided land for their daily walks to our yard and go to our pasture. So you will have more fun.

If there are also little ones in your family, we have two cots available and for an additional fee we can arrange babysitting by experienced babysitters for children of different age categories.
