It is better to plan your vacation in the Częstochowa Upland carefully, because there are so many secrets, nooks, rocks, castles, caves and trails around that you would have to use all your vacation days to see everything. Piaseczno is located in a sandy valley, millions of years ago it was the bottom of the sea, and now you can find ammonites, i.e. fossils, while walking. You can reach our small desert in 5 minutes, and the Błędowska Desert in 30 minutes by car. Okiennik, an impressive 30-meter-high rock with a large natural window under the peak, is located in Piaseczno, just a 15-minute walk from Błogo. A beautiful path through the forest leads to it. Rock climbers, beginners and advanced, will have paradise here. So do fossil, mineral and cave hunters. Another beautiful rock 15 minutes away is Cydzownik. The Owl Rocks and the Bats in Flight rock wall are also within walking distance. The easiest way to get there is to follow the red trail going north from the road connecting Piaseczno with Skarżyce. The red hiking trail begins in the village - Szlak Orlich Gniazd, which in half an hour will take you to the town of Morsko, where the Bąkowiec Castle is worth seeing. The yellow trail - Teutonic - also runs through Piaseczno - through Skarżyce and Rudniki to Zawiercie Borowe Pole st. PKP. We have plenty of castles here, because Casimir the Great left behind quite a stone legacy. A must-see is Ogrodzieniec Castle, which was Sodden Hill in the latest Witcher series. I recommend visiting it with an audio guide who will show you around and tell you the most interesting stories and events from this place. Mirów and Bobolice castles are magical places. There is a rocky passage between the fortresses. The route leads along the ridge of the rock, from both sides you have a beautiful view of the surrounding area. In Skarżyce, as the name suggests, there was once a court, and now in a beautiful white limestone building there is a charming church worth seeing. In Podlesice, it is worth getting tired by climbing Góra Zborów. This is the highest point in the Jura, where you can get lost in a controlled way among the rocks, nooks and corridors.
