In 1938, the meadow where our house now stands was empty, unlike the sky above it. The blue was covered with Czajki, Crows and Salamanders, which started from the highest point of the Żuków range, Holica. Lapwings and Crows, how can I get you, but these Salamanders? We forgot to mention that these are gliders. It was in Holica, which you can now see from the windows of our Barn, that before the war there was a gliding kindergarten known throughout Europe. From the top, like a slingshot, airplanes were fired into the air with the help of rubber tension. It must have been a unique sight, because at the peak of activity, the pilot training was conducted on 54 take-offs, i.e. planes took off from 54 places on the mountain slope at one time.
Since then, a lot has changed and today in Holica, instead of taking off with a glider, you can get married in civil law, and our meadow has gained several houses, including two of ours. One family, one for you. Bieszczadzka Stodoła has a lot of freedom around, because the neighbors behind the fence are not here. It also has concrete glass walls and 4 apartments with separate entrances, annexes, bathrooms and a view as you look. There is a heated jacuzzi in the garden, so in winter you can jump into bubbles after cross-country skiing, and then bake a pizza and barbecue in the glass-covered summer kitchen. You can also bike to the mountain pastures, and you can with wine at the book.
We wish you high flights and landing right here, on the sidelines of Ustrzyki Dolne. Come on board.
At an altitude of 480 m above sea level, in a house with 4 self-contained apartments, glass and concrete walls. In Bieszczadzka Stodola, we focus primarily on comfort, which is why all apartments have kitchenettes and air conditioning. We don't have to mention the bathrooms.
There are two apartments on the ground floor, each for 2 people. They have a double bed, an armchair, a table with chairs, large windows and access to the terrace, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower.
On the first floor there are 4-person +1 apartments, i.e. with a place for a child. There is a double bed, a comfortable fold-out sofa, an armchair, a higher table with stools and a mezzanine with a single mattress. This is where kids love to sleep best. A steep ladder leads to the mezzanine, and this stork's nest is also recommended for schoolchildren. One upper apartment has an exit to the terrace, the other has a glass wall with an opening large window.
We give you complete freedom of creation and great kitchen facilities. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette. There is a microwave, dishwasher, hob, fridge, dishes, coffee and tea.
In the garden there is a special grill shelter or rather a fully equipped kitchen with a dining room. Here you can prepare and bake a pizza in a real wood oven, you can conjure up dumplings on a grandma's plate, bake bread or cake and make a barbecue.
You know why you come to the Bieszczady Mountains. Escape from the noise, have peace and quiet, go swimming, walk, hike, read, pick mushrooms, look for traces of wild animals, eat well, go on a slope or even cross-country skiing. We have all this and more.
A year-round heated jacuzzi awaits you in the garden. Regardless of the weather, you can take advantage of the bubbles and, in winter, enjoy the warm water under the roof. Cold cheeks, wine and a jacuzzi are a perfect combination.
And those who don't like water may choose a sauna with a view of the hills.
The favorite place of absolutely all our guests is the grill shelter, or rather the "summer kitchen", where you can spend time from dawn to dusk. We put three ovens there - for pizza/bread, a hob that is perfect for frying and baking, and an internal grill. Here you can make the perfect pizza, bake bread, rolls and cakes, make Bieszczady cakes, and organize a barbecue. There are tables and chairs in the shelter, and in front of it there is a terrace with garden sofas.
There are wonderful views all around, because we are located at 480 m above sea level. When you look straight ahead, you will see the Żukowo range with the Holica peak (761 m above sea level) and a wonderful 35-meter observation tower in the Ustrzyki Dolne Forest District. You can go to the range or to the very top, which is a viewpoint of the Bieszczady meadows and the Teleśnicka Bay. You can get to Holica on foot along tourist trails, the Nordic Walking route or along the educational trail "On the slopes of Żukowo", the beginning of which is in Ustjanowa, next to the famous cross-country trails. Stanisław Nahajowski. In winter, we recommend taking cross-country skis as there is plenty of space to run around.
You can also reach the Żukowo ridge by bike.
For walks in the area, we also recommend the Równianka Stream, located 200 meters from us. Maybe you will see beavers, and you will definitely come across the remains of their construction activities.

What’s there for children?
Our child Tosia is 5 years old and she is the first to roll on the grass. Your kids will probably follow her example and will not be bored. They can also soak their feet or their whole bodies in the jacuzzi, play soccer and go sledding down the hill near the house. In the summer kitchen, they will compose their dream pizza and see how the cheese melts on it in the oven, and they bake real Bieszczady proziaki on the grandma's kitchen. In the morning, you should look for deer in the fog lying on the meadows, and listen to the rutting in the fall. It will be cool!
