When you get out of the car here, the words that come to your lips are: "we don't need anything else except the blue sky." Because all the rest of the attractions are hidden right next to the house or in its vicinity. There are meadows made for walking barefoot and practicing morning yoga. There is a mysterious forest hiding priceless treasures in the form of a manor house, giant rhododendrons and edible chestnuts. Before lunch, we will have time to go to the waterfall or swim in the Beaver River. After dinner, we lie down among the tree branches, make clay or dress our throats for the evening bonfire. We take life slowly but fully. And more officially: we are located in the heart of the Bóbr Valley Landscape Park. In the tiny Maciejowiec, which seems to us to be the center of the world, because here there is everything we love and everything we need to be happy. This is where our creaky house stands, which knows the past better than a history textbook. We forgive him everything, after all, a hundred is a beautiful age. Not perfect, but beautiful. Come for blissful peace, we have plenty of it.

Hi, from this side of the world Marcin, Ludmiła, Nikodem, Lena and Jaś. I am an art historian by education, and a photographer with many years of experience by passion. My wife is a writer who loves to go barefoot and makes the now famous sourdough bread. We teach our (and not only) kids at home, we organize workshops during which we try to create the best possible conditions for kids (and not only) to experience what they learn. Ecology is very close to us, you can't find many things made of plastic here, we eat healthy and natural, we love to light bonfires and organize trips to the near and distant surroundings. You will experience the real countryside with us - silence, smells, animals and freedom. Come to wade on the grass, swing on the trees and take a break from the rush.

In a hundred-year-old home that remembers the past no worse than history books. We are in tiny Maciejowiec, in the heart of the Bóbr Valley Landscape Park. Here we sleep like gophers on the edge of a 20-hectare park, where you can find: a 15th century manor, a 19th century palace, a mysterious tomb, hundreds of plant species (including edible chestnuts and beautiful rhododendrons), wild animals and the fascinating Wild Gorge. You can admire all this when you dig yourself out of the bedding. And there are three rooms waiting for you: two, four and five rooms, two bathrooms (entrance from the corridor) and a shared dining room. On cold days and evenings, a parlor goat and a cup of hot tea or herbs will warm you up. We can accommodate 15 people in total. In addition to the rooms, we also have a separate, independent, four-person house with a bathroom and a kitchenette. If you want more privacy, that's what he found. At your disposal there is a parking lot, a fireplace, a "small beach", a hanging net for lounging among trees, a hammock, and for the more overworked - Internet access. It is not crazy with the range, but you will easily find a place from which you can call with full "dashes". We don't have televisions and nobody really misses them, but we can organize a film show on a projector. We admit, without hitting, that it is not perfect with us ... and we are not even trying to get it. The house largely resembles the one from 100 years ago - it has an uneven, brick floor in the living room, sometimes the floorboards in the rooms will creak or the door will creak. But we forgive our grandfather, after all, a hundred years is a beautiful age. Imperfect but beautiful.

What will I eat?

We feed, and how! You can eat beautifully and healthily served breakfasts, lunches or dinners and suppers. A large part of the products comes from our garden and from our neighbor - an ecological farmer. We bake sourdough bread ourselves (we even grind the grain ourselves), we have our own chanterelles - so also eggs for breakfast. We make vinegar from apples and pears from trees in former German orchards, we collect herbs from meadows and we also grow our own (we have 10 types of mint, including the chocolate one that you can buy from us!). In general - it is not possible to go for a walk on an empty stomach or go to bed with an empty stomach. No way! In our village, one of the farmers sells milk products from his own cows, so if you want, we will guide you. There is an eco-market in Jelenia Góra, where you will get only delicious things. We are happy to light fires, and on them you can bake bread, potatoes, sausages, marshmallows - whatever you can think of.

Ladies and gentlemen, it is impossible to get bored here. You can start the day with gymnastics in the garden or yoga in the meadow, after breakfast you can go for a walk on one of the three backyard trails. Quite close to the house you can see a historic manor, palace, mysterious tomb or admire a beautiful gorge. Besides, you will even see deer, foxes or hares. And 100 percent grazing cows in the meadows and Huculs from a nearby stud. In the afternoons, we usually read books, swing in hammocks or lie on a net under the trees. In the evenings we sit by the fire and plan the next day. We have left you folders and guides to the area in the rooms. If you cannot imagine a holiday without two wheels, next to us there are many pleasant routes of varying difficulty (and electric bike rental). You can take the route of the former narrow-gauge railway or the more difficult mountain routes. If you want to go a bit further, be sure to go to the Pilichowicki Bridge, take canoes on the Bóbr, visit Karpacz, Szklarska Poręba or Świeradów Zdrój. Each of these cities offers plenty of attractions not only in high season. However, in the season there are various events taking place in nearby castles, of course related to old crafts and knightly traditions, and from the most famous festivals, we can recommend you: the Glass Festival in Jelenia Góra (glass has a rich tradition here, many craftsmen from the Czech Republic and Germany also come here ), Agata Lato in Lwówek Śląski (our area is the best place in Europe to look for these stones) and it is one of the largest events of this type in Europe. There are also several studs in the area, including our beloved one with Hutsuls, which they carry wonderfully on their backs through meadows and forests. Besides, we organize a lot of workshops that we can also offer you. We invite you to cook together in the open air, we weave wreaths, we make straw toys, we create our own jewelry, we make clay, we take photos. There is no time to be bored!

What’s there for children?

Go to photo editor Photo edit

We have 3 kids ourselves and we know that kids need time and space to be kids. We help them in this by organizing workshops, hanging swings on trees, or accompanying them on trips to the forest and discovering its secrets. We have a trampoline, a net stretched between trees, on which forces and funds are gathered to build huts and invent outdoor games. We stretch a rope between the trees for small acrobats, on which they can walk and learn balance, we have a huge sandbox that serves as battle arenas, mock-ups of cities and tropical beaches. However, ping pong and tennis lose to the chicken coop and the possibility of feeding three species of hens and the extraordinary beauty of the rooster. We know from experience that apart from the blue sky, nothing else is needed. He can also go on a trip with them and here we have a problem with what to write about ... there is really a lot of it! - Sudecka Educational Farm, where there is, among others, earthquake simulation platform. There you will learn (almost) everything about the Land of Extinct Volcanoes. - rafting and kayaking on the Bóbr River. Start in Nielestno, about 7 km from us - castles: Wleń (10 km) Czcha (27 km), Chojnik (27 km) knight's tower in Siedlęcin (13 km) Night sightseeing with torches or oil lamps is a great thing... - you can also rent electric bikes in nearby Modrzewie - we have several studs nearby! - A magical float with the Castle of Silesian Legends, Noah's Ark, the Knights' Castle... (13 km) -numerous workshops organized in nearby towns

Our address: Maciejowiec 63, Maciejowiec, Lower Silesia Province, Sudetes Mountains, Jizera Mountains, Kaczawskie Mountains, Bóbr Valley, Poland

From the A4, a beautiful route leads to us through Złotoryje - provincial and local roads (you will pass beautiful towns and Polish Fujiyama :) . If you are driving in winter and it is snowing, or in the dark... a much easier way is through Jelenia Góra (in this case you drive all the time on the national road and only the last 5 kilometers on the local road)

Fantastyczne miejsce prowadzone przez genialnych ludzi. Świetne jedzenie, cudowne tereny dookola, a Gospodarze bardzo pomocni!

Niezapomniany pobyt w sercu natury! Produkty pochodzące prosto z gospodarstwa, świeże, przetworzone z pasją i umiejętnościami, zapewniały niezapomniane doznania kulinarne. Sam pobyt był równie przyjemny. Pokój zachowując wiejski klimat, były niezwykle komfortowy i czysty.
