If after your holiday you would like to look like a million dollars, and not like a million Mondays, please drum roll! We have such a seat in Bory Tucholskie that the suitcases pack themselves and the body is happy for the upcoming relaxation. Not only do you sleep here for a long time and in total silence (forest, lake, almost no traffic), but it is also so close to the lake that the morning coffee made in the Italian coffee machine will not have time to cool down on the way to the pier.
Resting here should be recommended by doctors. It is worth trying to laze in every position: on the back, stomach and righteously on each side. The area is created for forest baths, meditation and all other forms of communing with nature. And in the surrounding forests, try to look for an elderly woman in a red robe and a cone crown - Borowa Auntie, who is the guardian spirit of the forest, protects forest animals and punishes those who destroy the forest. So walk with respect, because you can share the fate of people enchanted in junipers.
We like traveling and places where space and time are only ours, so each of the houses will also be totally yours. The plot is large and wooded, so it provides maximum privacy.
There are three houses on the plot. Each of them is about 100 meters long, has the same layout, underfloor heating, air conditioning and a terrace of about 20 meters. You can rent one, two or all of them if you come with a large team. In each house there are 3 double bedrooms (two bedrooms can be separated). In addition to the bedrooms, the living room has a couch where you can sleep and a single couch in the attic. In total, up to 8 people can sleep in each house - 6 in bedrooms and 2 on couches. We do not accept more people due to the permeability of the sewage treatment plant. Each house has two bathrooms (one with a bathtub, the other with a shower and infrared sauna) with an iron, vacuum cleaner and ironing board. The house also has high lounges with a fireplace connected to a fully equipped kitchen and a table for 8 people. The stairs from the living room lead to a large lounge open to the living room with a sofa, armchair, bookcase and board games.
And now, how do they differ: The Birch House is the brightest (the name obliges), stands proudly on the hill behind the forest and carefully observes through large windows whether the beavers in the lake are doing well. And it has a nice view. The Maple House proudly follows the Birch tree as a second eye on the lake and prides itself on its large terrace which is a bit envied by the other two houses. And the Pine House, full of the calming colors of the forest. This house has chosen the view of the forest behind the fence and makes sure that you have it as close as possible to your forest adventures
At your full disposal is a heated swimming pool, a fenced area with a lockable gate, 50 meters of the shoreline of Lake Cekcyńskie Wielki with a pier, a boat and a small private beach. Of course, there is also a place for a bonfire and grill next to each house.
We open the swimming pool from mid-June to mid-September.
You will eat whatever you want, because no unauthorized person will be hanging around the kitchen. You cook what you want and when you want. And if you do not want to stand by the pots, you can order meals at Agrotourism Zielona Pestka or at the Cis restaurant in Cekcyna. You can do the shopping in shops in Cekcyna or in our friendly farms, eggs from guinea fowl or quails, milk from Jersey cows, goat's milk. We recommend you strongly, because the food is delicious, healthy and at your fingertips.
We order delicious home-made venison meats and ecological pates from Mr. Wiesław to lick your fingers. Mr. Wiesław knows how to enchant the taste buds, the meats from the nearby Olchowy Dymek Wędliniarska Manufacture are also delicious and traditional. In the season, at your request, we can order asparagus straight from the plantation. When it comes to cow cheese, it's only from Mr. Adamczyk. Carnivores can also stock up on Mrs. Halinka, who supplies us with geese, traditional goose and chickens. And when you go to Cekcin, be sure to come to the bakery.
In the kitchen you will find all the necessary equipment and tools for preparing meals for chefs of various culinary levels. There is, among others DeLonghi espresso machine, large fridge and freezer, and oven. However, if something is missing by accident, just let us know - we will conjure it.
Kruszka is surrounded by forests, which probably every mushroom picker has heard about - if you like to walk and pick mushrooms, this is the perfect place. It is worth taking a walk at dawn and recharging the body in accordance with the Japanese therapeutic method Shinrin-yoku (according to research, each such forest therapy reduces stress, lowers blood pressure and improves immunity). Cyclists will find many kilometers of trails nearby that are worth going and getting to know the area. If you want to spend your vacation actively, be sure to go canoeing on the Brda or Wda.
Nature lovers will be delighted by the vicinity of as many as three reserves: the Cisy Staropolskie Reserve (at the moment, work is underway to designate new routes in the reserve), the Ribbon River Reserve with Dwarf Waterfalls at the start and the Jelenia Wyspa Reserve. A bit further there is the Czaplowisko Wysoka Reserve, where you can see the gray heron colonies.
If you miss a bigger city, you can go to Tuchola (and be sure to go to the Łuczniczka cafe with delicious chocolates produced in Tuchola) or Chojnice. On the other side of the lake in Cekcyna, there is a public beach and a guarded bathing beach, in addition, an atmospheric amphitheater and a real mini-golf course. The most famous events in the season are the Midsummer Picnic (weaving wreaths and putting them on the water, as well as music and competitions), Nocne Misteria Nadjeziorne (theater performances) and Cekcyn Electronic Music Festival (a famous festival with over 10 years of history) - taking place in amphitheater in Cekcyna. For boys big and small, we recommend you to go to the Historical Picnic held in August at the rocket training ground in Wierzchucin - a great party combined with a picnic and tasting delicious local products.
History lovers will be happy to visit Grodzisko Raciąż (the equivalent of Biskupin) in Bory Tucholskie and see the aqueduct in Fojutowo, modeled on ancient Roman buildings.
In our opinion, however, the rest should be varied and it is worth organizing "doing nothing" days. Tune in here to rest with your bellies up, in the water, in the sun and among the trees. There is a place to walk, swim and catch up on books. We recommend that you take a blanket, go to the lake and put up a sign next to you saying "do not disturb".
What’s there for children?
We do not have amenities for babies, and there are stairs in the house, so arriving with small children involves full child logistics on your part. Older children will surely find something to do here - we have plenty of space for jogging, arranging field games and, above all, a lake, a heated swimming pool and a trampoline at your fingertips. We have already resolved competitions for the best jump from the pier to the bomb and for the best shelter built in the forest. For worse weather, it is worth giving kids the opportunity to stay in the attic, accompanied by books, comics and board games, Believe us - cells and computers cease to exist then. In the evenings, it is worth lighting a fire and showing the kids the Big Dipper or a meteor shower and saying a wish to the shooting star together.
What’s there for employees?
In each of our wooden houses there is a large table ideal for remote work. There is also a large corner sofa in the living room, which is surrounded by large windows on two sides. From each house there is a soothing view of the lake or forest. It is up to you to decide which of these views will make your working hours more pleasant.
