Welcome to Rudawy Janowickie. Whether you've heard of them before, or it's their first time, we've got some good news for you: the Sand Horse is right in the middle of them. We love the Ore Mountains, which is why we have built two houses here and every day we take the role of a matchmaker - we match you with our mountains. We are passionate about the local nature, but also monuments and history of these places. We will advise you where to go and where to eat a good dinner.

Both houses are new, but largely built and decorated with over 100-year-old original beams recovered from old barns that once stood in Mniszków. You will be just a stone's throw from the forest, a stone's throw from the pool, and three steps to the sauna from the living room. We invite you for comfort and mountain excursions.

Sandy Horse is located in the charming mountains of Rudawy Janowickie in Lower Silesia, in the heart of the nature park and Natura 2000, right next to the Karkonosze National Park.

Cottage "Bakalia" has two bedrooms (each with a double and single continental bed), two bathrooms, a living room with a fireplace and a kitchen.
There is a 2-person infrared sauna in the cottage.
Outside, there is a large panoramic terrace with a set of garden furniture.
Outdoor swimming pool (from May to September with heated water up to 32 degrees Celsius) and a brick barbecue with a gazebo.
There is also a place for an evening bonfire, playground and volleyball court.

The kitchen in the house is equipped with all the equipment and tools necessary for free cooking. You can prepare the coffee you like the most, because there is a pressure coffee machine on site, as well as a coffee grinder.
On a sunny day you can have a barbecue, and on a warm evening a bonfire. Take coal with you, and we will provide wood (for a fee) on your request.
The nearest restaurant is Browar Miedzianka (20 minutes walk) - good beer, tasty food and amazing views guaranteed.
A little further (about 20 minutes by car) is the Fisherman's Chamber in Podgórki (delicious fish and more).
Karczma Gniewków in Kostrzyca (Polish cuisine) or for game gourmets, there is a Podgórzanka restaurant in Kaczorów, 15 minutes by car.

There are many places in Rudawy Janowickie perfect for short and pleasant trips. The closest are:
- Colorful Lakes - reservoirs with fabulous colors: green, purple and blue are one of the most beautiful places in the Rudawy Janowickie, which has been included on the list of 7 wonders of Poland more than once. We will get there from the houses in 1h45min (7km).
- rock formations - take various shapes and sizes, some - such as Janowickie Skały or Skalny Most, make a really big impression. On foot, we will get there in about an hour and a half (4 km), you can also drive a car and leave it at the entrance to the road to the ruins of Bolczów Castle.
- near the rocks there are also viewpoints, such as Mała Ostra or Sokolik - it is worth seeing the beautiful panorama of the Sudetes
You can also stay there and relax. Take a walk, warm up in the sauna or by the fireplace, eat dinner on the terrace. Rest in silence.

We have good facilities for them - we have arranged small playgrounds next to the houses, which provide entertainment for children of all ages. Here are some options for those looking to have some fun outdoors:
- splashing in the pool
- fun in the sandbox, swings and slides
- running wildly, catching butterflies, looking for frogs, collecting flowers...
- in winter: tobogganing (provided)
