The house was built on the foundations of the old habitat and a large part of the finishing materials came from its demolition. For this reason, the house has the atmosphere of a hundred-year-old country cottage. In 2016, the house underwent a major renovation and despite the beautiful history, the inside is comfortable and safe. There are 3 double bedrooms in the house (one with a double bed, in the other a double but a bit narrower, and in the third two single bedrooms) and a maximum of 6 people can stay with us. On the ground floor there is an open plan living space with a sofa, fireplace, bathroom with shower, kitchen and dining area. Steep stairs lead to the attic, where the bedrooms are, so watch out for small children. You can go out to the terrace from the bedroom - we recommend especially with your morning coffee in hand, because the view of the meadows and the lake is amazing! The house stands on a huge fenced plot (go ahead and take your pooch), in the garden there is a table and benches, deckchairs, a barbecue, a fireplace, hammocks - everything you need to relax outdoors. Let us emphasize once again: the stairs in the house are very steep, so it is not a home for people with mobility limitations, and the little ones must be supervised by their parents, because neither the stairs in the house nor in the garden are secured. The house is located in the village and despite the considerable distance from other neighbors, there is a full package of sounds and smells of the village: and the cow will moo, and the hens will cackle. There will also be a field mouse in the house - don't panic!

When packing, don't forget to take some recipes and a chef with you, because you cook yourself. The kitchen is fully equipped, so it shouldn't be difficult for you to prepare breakfast or a two-course dinner with dessert. It is worth shopping in the nearby Kruklanki, or a bit further in Giżycko (there is also a market place that is worth visiting and arming yourself with local vegetables, fruit, honey and cheese). Mrs. Krysia, who looks after the house, bakes delicious rye bread and makes delicious dumplings to order - you can let us know and order it on arrival. There will be fresh bread and honey waiting for you (did you eat such slices generously poured with honey?). During the holiday season, you can order other local products.

If you finish your coffee, eat your lunch and get bored with laziness, we have a few places where we will send you. It is worth seeing the Bison Farm in Wolisko, seeing the fallen bridge in Kruklanki, or going on a canoe trip in Sapina - beautiful views included! Fans of history and secrets will be happy to visit Hitler's Bunker in Gierłoż, Himmler's headquarters in Pozezdrze, the real pyramid in Rapa or visit the Boyen Fortress in Giżycko (book even a few hours, because the fortress area is huge). In the village of Mamerki near Węgorzewo, about 20 km from Przerwanki, there are a number of bunkers of the remains of the "Mauerwald" Wermacht Headquarters. The bunkers are very well preserved. You can visit the ground and underground parts of the headquarters. For a day trip, it is worth equipping yourself with rubber boots and flashlights. The Masurian Canal, a water connection between Masuria and the Baltic Sea, begins in Mamerki. The most interesting lock is located in the nearby Leśniewo Górne. Sports enthusiasts will be happy to rent a kayak or a sailboat and sail away. Lake Gołdopiwo, on which we are, is the largest of the surrounding lakes and the last lake on the route of the Great Masurian Lakes. They are connected with the Święcajty Lake by the Sapina River. There is a quiet zone here, so you won't hear motorboats or scooters. The reed belt surrounding the lake from Przerwanki is a bird sanctuary where birders from all over Europe come to watch cormorants, wild geese, white herons, harriers, bitterns, white-tailed eagles, it is worth taking binoculars and watching them a bit. A 19 km long bicycle trail runs around the lake. Very clean water invites you to swim in the summer. The Sapina River Trail connecting several lakes: Gołdopiwo, Wilkus, Brząś, Pozezdrze, Stręgiel with the Great Masurian Lakes Trail, is a picturesque canoeing route. If you want to go on a longer trip, be sure to go to the northern outskirts of Masuria. Because there, among charming hills and meadows, behind the village of Stańczyki, there are huge viaducts of the closed Gołdap - Żytkiejma railway line. The bridges in Stańczyki are the highest on the line and one of the highest in Poland. Length - 200m and height 36m. Reinforced concrete structure, five-span with 15m arches. The architecture is characterized by perfect proportions and the pillars are decorated with elements modeled on the Roman aqueducts in Pont du Gard. Hence the name - Aqueducts of the Romincka Forest. It's worth it.
