If you do not want to read long descriptions, we will write only one word: sztos.
But if you want more, here is a list of arguments in favor of coming to Młynik: from the living room you can take a run and jump straight into the lake, on the terrace a jacuzzi bubble, and in Prosecco glasses, legs straighten on the sun loungers, and the kitchen (actually her boss and team in she worked) received a Michelin star. MICHELIN.
Scientists have proven that clean air removes sorrow from the head, green forests soothe shattered nerves, and the noise of rushes fills the tormented heart. Here, in a small Masurian village conveniently situated by Lake Gielądzkie, you can cut yourself off from the world and watch grebes while sipping cool wine. You can also invite this world to your place and experience a crazy vacation here, losing sunrise and sunset. It is advisable to write your own Wild Stories here. Necessarily with a happy ending.
Wild Stories in Młynik can be started in 2 houses (both with the shoreline of Lake Gielądzkie and access to a very long pier). We suggest renting both houses or, if there are fewer of you, just the large house with access to all attractions (we do not rent a small house if the large one is not rented). In both houses, each bedroom has a TV, but there is also one in the living room for shared movie marathons, there is wifi and recently improved coverage. We have towels, bathrobes, disposable slippers for you, and for long-haired people, hair dryers and straighteners, so you can pack less.
The large house consists of 3 bedrooms with double, large beds. There are also 3 bathrooms in the house (but not in the rooms), one with a huge bathtub and two with showers, a large living room with a fireplace, the most comfortable sofa in the world (we know what we are talking about) and a terrace overlooking the lake. In the fully equipped kitchen, you cook yourselves or our chef prepares meals (then she rules supreme in the kitchen in the small house). In addition, the house also has: a billiard room, a sauna and a jacuzzi (on the lower terrace in front of the house).
The small house can accommodate 4 people in 2 bedrooms (each with 1 double bed... but! we have 4 single beds - extra beds, so if you want to come with a slightly larger group - let us know, we will do everything in our power to accommodate you). Each bedroom is equipped with modern and super comfortable futons, which will provide you with luxurious dreams and comfortable rest. In addition, the house also has a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen and a dining room.
Outside we have a place for a bonfire and a barbecue (roofed and with a long table). And for the sporty ones, a tennis court with a basketball court and direct access to the pier and access to the lake.
And here we will give a real show, because the kitchen is a very important element of our wild history (and one of the most important rooms in the house).
The culinary art in Wild Stories is taken care of by women: two exceptional Chefs who joined forces. First, by observing each other, they tested whether they had the same thing in their souls. It turned out that they did, and in addition to the chirping of birds and the sound of the lake, you can hear a common melody there, which allows us to offer our Guests an experience unique on a national scale.
Ewa Michalska, the creator of the Wild Stories Kitchen, trained in the best star restaurants: under the watchful eye of Rene Redzepi in Copenhagen's Noma (often nominated as the best restaurant in the world), she learned and sharpened her senses in Warsaw's Nolita, and in order to return to her native nature in Atelier Amaro, she lectures at culinary schools and helps chefs find their own passion. Sandra Gruszczyńska gained her impressive experience in renowned restaurants, from traditional Belgian bistros to two-star restaurants, including the iconic The Jane. Just like Ewa, she took her collected knowledge, awareness of possibilities and solutions back to Poland and it was here that she decided to create. She developed her passion for confectionery under the watchful eye of master Sebastian Wełpa in the Warsaw restaurant ALEWINO, to eventually create her own dream confectionery Atelier "Słodka Półka", where she works her magic.
<span style="background-color: var(--white);">In the kitchen, which is in line with the seasons, Ewa and Sandra use selected products from our friendly suppliers. They use old recipes, regional recipes and their whole hearts to make your stay with us the tastiest in your life.
You can choose one of 2 available catering options:
- you do everything yourself: shopping, cooking, baking, serving, washing up and all the rest,
- Chef on board: and this is where the magic happens. Ewa or Sandra pamper your taste buds twice a day, preparing delicious meals. The Wild Stories Kitchen is flexible - it will adapt to all preferences, allergies and requirements. From tomato soup to cream of crayfish necks, * catering option available by prior individual arrangement.
What's more, you can eat wherever you wish: conventionally in the dining room, under the trees in the garden, on the terrace and on the jetty (we recommend sitting there at sunset with a glass of wine and a cheese board). You can also pack a picnic basket and sail out to the middle of the lake with your second breakfast - don't be shy, it should be crazy, tasty and something to remember!
In the kitchen you will find everything you need to mix in the pots yourself - you will make toast for breakfast and cake for dessert. If you want to do some shopping, we recommend Ranczo Frontiera - from which we buy cheeses. For fresh and smoked fish, go to Mrągowski Gospodarstwo Rybne. We take herbs from our garden, as well as from the forest, fields and meadows. We bake sourdough bread using forgotten types of wheat, such as emmer or einkorn. You can get wonderful organic products such as cold cuts and cheeses at "Sklep u Rolnika". If you dream of a market, go to Olsztyn or Jeziorany.
If that's still not enough for you, we have suggestions that will allow you to get to know and fall in love with the region (especially in its culinary dimension). We will invite you to a mill walk, during which we collect herbs and edible fruits of the forest, which we can then experiment with together in the kitchen. At your request, we can prepare Plates, a dinner in the form of smaller appetizers to try and share, or a Wild Stories Tasting Dinner - our flagship event to end your stay - watch out, there will be tears.
And as proof of all this, we recommend an interview with Chef Ewa Michalska:

No way. Well, unless you want to do nothing and laze around. That's when you can. But if you want to rest in a position other than horizontal, you have a lot to do. First and foremost, the lake is right behind the house. All you need to do is take a solid run-up and jump into the water (naked, in a life jacket or on a bomb). The long pier, which could compete with many fashion catwalks, encourages you to picnic, sunbathe and watch the sunset. Sauna and jacuzzi will help you to relax, in which it is worth to bubble up all your sorrows and worries. You can also order massages, so if you want total pampering - let me know.
After leaving the Wild Stories gate, a forest walking path opens in front of you, which you can walk and walk and walk until your legs hurt - it is ideal for meditation, relaxation and forest baths, which are healthy. You can walk or drive to the Gązwa Nature Reserve and there the silence in your ears is ringing and you can really relax with the omnipresent greenery (watch out for sundews!). We have Nordic walking poles - don't hesitate to use them.
As we like to party ourselves, we created Wild Stories just for organizing parties, games, rallies and integration. It's best to come here with a group of friends or favorite family members and have fun until you drop. You can grill, dance, make bonfires, play tennis or basketball. We also have bikes and badmigton equipment - you will sweat out any extra dessert. We want you to write your "wild stories" with us, but necessarily with a happy end, so have fun, go crazy (within reason) and take a break from everyday struggle.
In bad weather, we recommend playing a game of pool, playing board games or reading a book. There are televisions in the bedrooms and the living room, so you can organize a joint movie marathon.
Besides, we recommend ourselves during: civil and humanistic weddings in a beautiful Masurian scenery (e.g. on the pier!), All kinds of family events, parties (under an elegant tent set up on a tennis court), photo sessions and everything you want to plan - we will help !
What’s there for children?
We don't say no to kids, but this place is definitely designed with adults in mind. We don't have any facilities for little ones, so you have to pack all their software: potties, toys, etc. Slightly older children will have their hands full here: you can bathe, run, go wild in the garden and forest. Pick mushrooms, organize a competition for jumping into the water or the most freckles after sunbathing. We have sports equipment, board games, and maybe even teach how to play billiards.
