There is a village on the San Bend in the Sanocko-Turczańskie Mountains, which could be shared by several other places with legends and unusual stories. Apparently, during the construction of the monastery of Blacks (Basilians), stones inexplicably disappeared on the structure, and although they could be thieves, there were also rumors that the saints took them. Then, on the site of the temple, a well was built, in which the cross appeared, apparently pulled out of the water on a scarf by a woman praying nearby. As if that was not enough, the local residents to this day treat their shattered nerves, vision problems and rheumatic ones with water from a miraculous spring that flows out in Zwierzyń.
As you can see, there is magic in this place, but not only the supernatural. Zwierzyń is surrounded by nature reserves, and many health resorts could envy us the microclimate. No wonder that when we came here 15 years ago, the countryside attracted us like a magnet and grounded us forever. Now we are sharing the benefits of Nadsania with you, refugees from Bieszczady. We show where you can catch grayling without any problems, and where you can catch trout, where you can splash and where you will find a forest waterfall. We suggest how to get to the most beautiful viewpoint of the San, where in Olszanica you will find beavers, who to knock for country bread and cheese, and where to go horse riding. Then we'll show you how to light a pizza oven in the garden and get the best homemade mozzarella. So something for the body, something for the belly and something for the spirit. So how are you coming?
Make yourself comfortable in the Bieszczady Cottage on the San Bend, which has 3 independent apartments. Each with a separate entrance and a terrace or balcony. In total, we can accommodate 17 people in the cottage, i.e. 5-7 people in each apartment.
Here you will find a unique rustic atmosphere. I take great pleasure in caring for accessories with soul and decor. The bedspreads and napkins are handmade by my step-mother, and the wall paintings in the painted apartment were made by the famous muralist Arkadiusz Andrejkow.

Well, we have a few options here. You can cook yourself, because the apartments have well-equipped kitchenettes. There is a two-burner induction cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, pots, plates, cutlery, glass, basic spices for "good morning": salt, pepper, coffee, tea, sugar. In the garden, however, there is a shed with a grill, a smokehouse, a field kitchen, and a bread oven. You can make delicious pizza, smoke fish caught in Sana, make prosziaki and a sumptuous barbecue.
I always buy homely, rural products from a friendly hostess. I can also fulfill your order. Remember to tell us in advance! I recommend to try: homemade bread, cottage cheese, mozzarella, butter, buttermilk, milk, cream, eggs.
Sometimes, on holidays (with three children it is impossible every day), we smoke fish and make cold meats. When this holiday happens during your stay, we will be happy to treat you.

As you know, whoever gets up in the morning goes for rolls. That someone is always my husband, because he is at the store at six in the morning. If you are not an early bird, we can drop you fresh bread and buns on the terrace.
Grocery store is 100 m from our cottage (seasonal).
We recommend our beloved Nadsanie to lovers of nature photography, birdwatchers, fishermen, walkers, cyclists, kayakers and even sailing fans. Zwierzyń has a unique microclimate that is the envy of many health resorts, as well as a wonderful spring whose water has a healing effect on rheumatic ailments and those related to the digestive system. The village is surrounded by reserves and this is what makes it unique. We have "Beavers in Uherce" and "Grąd in Średnia Wieś", and behind the hill there is "Nad Jeziorem Myczkowieckie". the famous monument of inanimate nature "Skała Myczkowiecka" marks its beginning. The rock rises to about 30 meters above the so-called the dead valley of the San, i.e. the place where the San flowed years ago. Currently, there is little water here and it is a famous place where local children try to swim in knee-deep water. Behind the power plant in Zwierzyń, the water level is already quite high, so this is where El Dorado begins (that's what anglers call the river, supposedly the best in Europe for grayling and trout). It is worth casting a fishing rod at the Special Protective Fishing Ground (OS San).
Life here revolves around the river, so there were also kayakers. The San is one of the most beautiful rivers in the country, so rafting on it is also unique. In spring, the river is flowable and demanding. We are lucky that the most beautiful section of the kayaking and pontoon trail runs between Zwierzyń and Lesko. During the trip, it is worth mooring at the shore and getting out of the kayak to admire nature. On the route you can meet, among others, the Lesser Spotted Eagle and the Ural Owl. Game trails, historic cobblestones and paths are ideal routes for Nordic Walking. There are 3 trails in our village. In winter, these trails are great for cross-country skiers.
Speaking of winter, 10 km from us there is the Bieszczad.ski ski lift, where you can try your hand at skiing, but in summer there are also plenty of attractions: the longest zip line in Europe, a tubing track, a rope park and mountain scooters, so there is plenty to do. ..
Just 2 km from the cottage there are Bieszczady Bicycle Drezyny. This - undoubtedly - the most beautiful railway route in Poland is over 140 years old! You can admire its charms by traversing this section on handcars powered by your own legs.
Lake Myczkowieckie - just like in Solina, there is a dam on it, but this lake is more pristine and there are definitely fewer people there. You probably won't bathe here, but you can have a picnic on the grass by the shore, take a walk around (the Bieszczady Nordic Walking Center is nearby) or go to the viewpoint in the quarry in Bóbrka.
Lake Solina and the largest dam in the country (you can visit it inside). On the lake you can sail, kitesurf, pedal boat or boat. You can take a sky trip over the Bieszczady Mountains and admire the landscape from above by taking a cable car over Solina.
What’s there for children?
The kids have a playground, a jumping hill and lots of toys on site. We have little ones ourselves, so we know that eyes around the head are a feature of every parent, and outdoor games invent themselves. With our urchins, we organize picnics by the San River, go on bicycle trips (we have 3 large bikes, 2 small and 2 medium ones on site), in winter the surrounding hills are our toboggan runs, and for skiing we choose Bieszczad Ski Station, 10 km away or Laworta, Gromadzyń in Ustrzyki Dolne, 24 km away. In the summer, we pack inflatable sleeves and rings, towels and buckets and go to Lake Solińskie or Lake Myczkowieckie. For those who like peace and quiet, we suggest staying in Zwierzyń, go to the swimming pool, light a bonfire, and play beach volleyball, and in the evening after a hard day use the sauna for relaxation and a cooling tub or, if you prefer, in a bubble barrel.
You can go horseback riding on foot. Our favorite stud is just 150 meters from the cottage.

We have fiber optic internet available in all apartments and the shelter. You can work at the dining room table, on the terrace, in the shelter or on a comfortable sofa with a table.
