We invite you to a Masurian, nostalgic journey in time and a holiday like from the old days in caravans. Wipe your tears away, pack your backpacks and go! Adventure awaits!
Due to the fact that the caravans are originals - there is no internet, you have to go to the bathroom for a walk, in the evening you fall asleep at a crickets concert, and at night a hedgehog may trampled under the window. For breakfast, we recommend quick sandwiches and tea with lemon in a metal mug, because there is no time - you have to go to the lake, or for a bicycle trip, or to finish the book with which we fell asleep on a sunbed yesterday. So much work and the day so short! Come on vacation in the atmosphere of the old days, we are waiting with vinyl music and the most beautiful shade of green around.
We guarantee a journey into the past in original (but comfortably renovated) camping trailers. We invite you to three (each one can accommodate 2 adults). In addition to a double bed, the trailers also have a sink with cold running water, a stove, basic dishes, a kettle, a fridge and a sofa with a table (ideal for playing cards, playing board games or sipping wine during long conversations until dawn). The trailers are more than 20 meters away from each other, so you shouldn't hear the guests next to you snoring. There is a building with 2 bathrooms and a shared kitchen 100 steps (50 meters) from the trailers. The bathrooms are without luxury, but stylish and holiday-like - a shower, sink and toilet. In each bathroom there is a hairdryer - you can lighten your luggage. It is worth thinking about insect sprays. Sometimes mosquitoes attack while chilling on the sun loungers and then instead of resting you have to organize a hunt. We invite you in the pre-holiday period until late summer (we are open from the beginning of May to the end of September).
In addition to trailers and mini terraces with deckchairs, you have at your disposal half a hectare of old park, an orchard (where you can go for a party), hammocks, bicycles, a shelter in the garden, a place for a bonfire and a barbecue, and a barn-community room with games, a record player, a ping-pong table, Xbox 360, a projector and a screen, and a library. For those who like water, we have a SUP board for rent (PLN 100/day) for swimming on the nearby beach in Jerzyków, which is ideal for this purpose.
From this season, we invite you to our new, 4-person summer cottage. The cottage has its own bathroom and a fully equipped kitchenette. It has air conditioning, so it is pleasant on the hottest days.
You can take your four-legged friends with you, but keep in mind that there is very little space in the trailers and we recommend small animals. The road to us isn't the best (from Radzieje it's about 4 km on a paved road), so it shakes a bit, but thanks to that there's peace and quiet, and during the day literally a few cars pass through Pilwa. Something for something.
As in a real campsite – you mix in pots, canteens and by the fire yourself. The kitchen is admittedly much better than those remembered from old summer resorts – you will find here all the most necessary equipment and a place where you can eat comfortably. In our shelter there is also a pizza oven and a grill. The nearest grocery store is 4 km away in the town of Radzieje. M
In addition, we have an orchard, so you can always pick something from the tree, and in the countryside it is possible to buy eggs and vegetables from farmers – on site we will tell you what and from whom it is worth buying. The nearest local markets with good products are located in Węgorzewo or Kętrzyn (approx. 20 km from Pilwa).
When you get bored with sunbathing, read everything you have prepared for reading, count the clouds and get a light tan, then you can go for a walk to the lake, forest or swamp - we are in the Natura 2000 protected area, so in addition to clouds, you can look for eagles and cormorants. There are a lot of nice cycling routes around (Masurian Bicycle Loop, which we are adjacent to, Mała Pętla Mamr, Pętla Węgorzewska and Great Loop of Stręgiel Lake are just shy suggestions) - so take your bikes. There is a walk to the nearest beach (more than 4 km) and you will enter the swamps around (an ideal place for bird watching), so we recommend you the Sołecka Beach in Radziejach, which is sandy, has a great bottom, and the lake is perfect for windsurfing. You can also rent a SUP board from us.
There is always a lot going on in Sztynort (about 15 km from us), where there are not only 450 berths, but also space for amazing sailing concerts (Szanty Sztynort), restaurants and playgrounds for kids. It is worth going on a bit further trips and visiting Zwalony Most in Kruklanki, Boyen Fortress in Giżycko, Pyramid in Rapa, Viaducts in Stańczyki, Seat of Himmler in Pozezdrze, Seat of Hitler in Gierłoż and bunkers in Mamerki. As we are in Masuria, you can easily organize canoeing trips and cruises on passenger ships along the Great Masurian Lakes route. Every year in Giżycko it is worth seeing the Masuria Air Show and the famous Shanty Festival, which attracts sailors from many countries. The International Folklore Fair takes place in Węgorzewo, and in Kruklanki you can eat harvest festivals. Check the dates, they can be movable.
In case of bad weather or an attack of boredom, we invite you to our old barn, which serves as an atmospheric common room. There is a game table, a turntable and a collection of vinyl records, a bookcase where you can help yourself to various books and a projector (but you must have your own computer to connect). As in the 1980s, we also have analog games: ping-pong, darts and a few board games.
What’s there for children?
As there are only two places in the transplant and most often couples visit us, we did not think about attractions for kids. Those who are a bit scary can actively participate in hiking and biking tours. The slightly smaller ones have plenty of space for running and playing, but you have to take care of the amenities and toys yourself.

Upstairs in the barn there is a desk and a comfortable chair where you can work in peace, the internet is also good - 50mb.
