100-year-old house on Staromestská. Our cottage, in which we put our whole heart. Love what it looks like now, because the house used to be uninhabitable. There was no part of the roof, walls, the house was without floors and of course without a bathroom. Eh, we could talk to you for a long time. Instead, look around and admire. Sit on the couch and admire the ceilings above your heads, which we managed to uncover under deposits of however colors and rough plaster. Do you like our old furniture? So remember what pieces were here, because in half a year they may be different. This is our creative chaos. And all this is completed by paintings, including those from my father. The house accommodates 5 people - has a kitchen, living room, bathroom and 2 bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed. Additionally, there is a sofa bed for a fifth person in one bedroom. And watch out for the head - one of the bedrooms has a lower ceiling, as it belongs to the completely original old part of the mining house.

The romantic atmosphere of the house is completed by romantic cuisine. Of course, if you consider cooking and some creativity in the kitchen to be romantic. But in order for every passion to burn properly, both culinary and holiday, you have everything you need in the kitchen. And if you don't want to cook, go to the center, here you will definitely come across something that will cause the taste buds and clinkers to run full.

We know that not only food eats. It is necessary to satisfy the feeling of aesthetics or other kind. For example, such walking or sports. Or the feeling of lounging. But in Banská Štiavnica, it is rather unrealistic. And since our house is located just right - close to the historic city center and close to nature, you have it ideal. Head to the Paradajz hill to the Old chateau, which now houses a museum with various interesting exhibits. Deepen your historical knowledge about the city, see the lapidarium, reliefs and sculptures from the Baroque Banská Štiavnica Calvary, which are among the most endangered monuments in the world. Take a look at the last smoking workshop in Slovakia, or forge with moss from the 18th century. Be sure not to bypass the Štiavnica Calvary. It is one of the most beautiful baroque calvary in Europe and is one of the largest. But what to talk about so much, go ahead and see it for yourself. Discover all mining secrets in the Slovak Mining Museum - Kammerhof. Don't miss the secrets that were built just for mining. At least you will kill two flies with one blow - you will also have a walk in nature and you will learn something new about this exceptional region. Let us mention at least the Great Waterworks, Beliansky tajch, Lake Klinger, Lake Vindschacht. But really, there are 24 of them left out of 60 (well-connected) water tanks today, so pack good shoes or bicycles and you have something to do. Or fishing rod if you like to catch fish (permit required (www.tajchy.sk)). In winter, you won't be cut off either - on some secrets, when nature allows, you can skate, you can harden or pack your skis and sledges and go crazy at the nearby Salamandra Ski Resort. You will also find books and board games in our house, and in the warmer months, warmly warm up on our little terracotta and in the garden.
