In places where several hundred years ago there was an inhospitable, impenetrable forest , today is our log cabin. The forested landscape was not divided by workers until the 13th century at the hands of their master, Bishop Bruno of Schauenburg, Olomouc. Each worker was given a measured field to eradicate, build a dwelling on it and start farming. And thus they laid the foundations of our picturesque village, Ostravice. The first written mention of it comes from the orbar of the Hukvaldy estate from 1581. However, materials about the origin of the village probably burned in the archives of Hukvaldy Castle, and so it is still shrouded in mystery.

But the most important thing is what it looks like today in the place below Lysá hora. No one would describe the landscape as inhospitable. Beautiful nature and sunny meadows are interwoven with rivers and lined with mountain ridges. As far as the eye can see, the soul dances. Our Chalet on the hillside is set in the hills in Ostravice. Breathtaking Beskydy nature, forests, meadows and mountain peaks stretch all around. You can enjoy the views from all the windows, from the garden and balcony terrace and from the outdoor hot tub.

We reconstructed the original timbered cottage with our own hands in order to preserve its nostalgic atmosphere, and at the same time it served for your maximum possible rest. That's why we built a Finnish sauna with a relaxation room in the basement and provided you with a wine cellar , up to the ceiling filled with various flavors of white and red.

My name is Jana and I have lived in Beyskydy all my life. My husband and I once said to ourselves that we wanted to share that splendor with others, we found an old cottage, bought it and brought it to life with their own hands, that is, rather the hands of husband Tomáš. Since then, we have been delighted, fulfilled and happy that our guests like us. We are details and if there is nothing "tip top", we are not satisfied. We have big plans and we would like to expand our family with other beautiful accommodation in the near future.

Timbered cottage in the Beskydy Mountains with 2 bedrooms and a living room with a sofa bed and a fireplace. There is also a kitchenette and a dining table. In the basement there is a sauna with a relaxation room and a wine shop. You can relax on the balcony and on the large terrace (in summer) with swimming pool and hot tub.

  • Travel is possible without any problems in the summer on paved roads. In winter, the arrival is affected by the amount of snow, in any case, the road is maintained to the pension Sluníčko (about 100m from the cottage).

Other rules

  • Guests are obliged to use the areas reserved for accommodation properly, and the accommodation may not make any changes in these areas without the user's consent.
    Accommodation is not allowed to use tobacco products incl. hookahs inside buildings and narcotics (except alcohol) in the entire area of the cottages, under a fine of CZK 500 for each such detected violation and compensation for any damage.
    Guests will leave the chalet in a tidy and tidy condition when leaving.
    Guests are not allowed to accommodate invited visitors or other persons during their stay.
    When leaving the building, guests always close the windows, water taps, turn off the electrical appliances and lock the building.
    For safety reasons, it is not allowed to leave children under the age of ten in the room and other areas of the landlord without adult supervision.
    Guests are responsible for all damages caused to the landlord, and it is their responsibility to pay for such damages and have their amount confirmed.
    During their stay, guests are obliged to maintain order and cleanliness, maintain night peace and pay attention to good "neighborly relations" in the building and common areas of the complex.
    Guests can light a fire in the area only in places designated for this purpose - a marked fireplace or fireplace. After leaving the fireplace or fireplace, guests will put out the fire properly and ensure that there is no risk of fire.
    During the accommodation of guests, the landlord may not use the building himself, but he can make sure that everything is in order in the building and according to the rules, and verify the number of people accommodated.
    The landlord may terminate the guests' stay before the agreed time if the guest (s) in the landlord's facility, despite the warning, grossly violates good manners, night peace, or otherwise grossly violates the provisions of the accommodation conditions.
    Any complaints and suggestions for improvement are accepted by the landlord.
