Or that one bee lives for about 35 days and collects about half a teaspoon of honey in its lifetime? If you delved even deeper into your knowledge of bees, you would not be amazed at how such a small wonder affects our world around us. And so between us - have you not heard of apiresterapy yet? We turned our determination and enthusiasm into reality by building the Včelárik Cottage near Nová Bana. Here we have combined ecology not only for the healthy life of bees with what they give us. You will sleep well with us, you will relax and you can also use the beneficial effects of apiresterapy. Simply to make you better and healthier. HOUSE WITH A TERRACE
There are plenty of good people everywhere. And we can accommodate 6 good people. So that you can have a good time.

On the ground floor of the house you will find a connected living room with a kitchen. They are dominated by a tiled stove, and when you pull back the curtains, you can reach the terrace through the glass door. From there, there is only a view of the surrounding hills, and maybe when you are quiet enough, our visiting ducks will also fly to the surface of the lake. In addition, on the ground floor you will find one bedroom, a bathroom with a wooden bathtub and a separate toilet.
The upper floor contains 2 bedrooms with a separate bathroom. In the larger bedroom, we can add a cot on request.

BIO LAKE
Our organic pond is waiting for you right in front of the house. And you can bathe in it!
It's up to you whether you prefer swimming when the sun's rays warm you or you belong to the hardy ones who love ice water. You can try the latter, but when the surface of the lake freezes enough, you'd better bring your skates to us ;)

ARBOR WITH BREAD/PIZZA OVEN
Behind the house, we have also prepared a gazebo for you. There you can cook, fill your bellies with goodies, and then blow off your breath.

ORGANIC BEE KEEPING & MED
This differs from the classic, conventional one by such an essential difference as their breeding in an ecologically clean environment without dangerous pesticides. Of course, that's not all. There's more, and we'll be happy to tell you about our passion when you want.
And feel free to ask if we have any stocks of honey or other bee products (e.g. also apicosmetics).

The kitchen is all yours. Fully equipped and furnished so that you feel good in it and can prepare what you want. It is connected to the living room and directly from it you can reach the terrace, where you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the surrounding hills. Maybe even your lunch will taste better with such a bonus.

Outside in the garden, you will have a gazebo at your disposal, in which you will find not only a grill, but also an oven for baking bread. Believe us, there is nothing wrong with sitting in the gazebo during the warm months. While waiting for the creations from your hands, listen to the sounds of the bee orchestra, and maybe other sounds and smells of the surrounding nature will be added.

APIRESTERAPY
So first a few words about it... So that you can fully enjoy it, we have a house where you can sit comfortably in a chair and take a deep breath... of the air from the beehive. That's apirestherapie.
A little-known therapy in our country, but e.g. normal service in Germany or Austria.
And why breathing? Everything found in bee products can also be found in the aerosols in the air in their hive. Breathing this miraculous atmosphere from their hive has a positive effect on how you feel and boosts your immune system.
But that is far from all. It affects the respiratory organs and helps with lung diseases, reduces stress, helps with asthma, insomnia, back pain, depression... so even if you feel perfectly healthy, a little miracle like this certainly won't hurt. And who knows, maybe you'll take a sweet nap there with the buzzing of the bees that you can hear from the hive. (Available in the months when the bees are not sleeping.)

OUR GARDEN
In addition, you can laze with us wherever you want. Although also lying on the grass with a view of the sky and the surrounding greenery. Or take a seat on the terrace or in the gazebo, or swim in our organic pond.

NEW MINE AND SURROUNDINGS
If you still want to go somewhere else, go to the center of Nová Bana, to the Pohron Museum, where you can learn something about the ancient golden past of Nová Bana. Are you interested in mining history? Then you can't go around the Banský naúčný trail, which has 2 circuits. And even those who are not very interested in history will not be bored here. Sidewalks are woven not only into the city, but also into nature. You will come across the Háj lookout point, from which you can enjoy wonderful views of the hills of Pohronského Inovec, Vtáčnik, Štiavnické vrchy. You can also go to Tajch, which is suitable for swimming in the summer and will also be enjoyed by individuals who are keen on fishing. You won't be bored with us in winter either - we are not far from ski resorts (Drozdovo ski center).

There is really more than enough here, so we recommend the Starohutský waterfall, visit the Revište castle or the Sklené Teplice spa, where you can try a cave steam bath. For lovers of cycling and walking tours, we also recommend Barborská cesta, and the unique project of Pohronská castle road is also worth considering, where you will come across many castles and watchtowers (https://www.pohronskehrady.sk/).

We believe that if you come to us with your children, they will also enjoy us. Our garden is large enough to run peacefully up and down, rolling down the hill or hatching on the grass. In addition, there are a few trees on which they can try Tarzan's talents. There is also a children’s playground with a house, a slide and ropes for climbing. We also have an organic swimming pond, in which they can crawl like ducks in summer and skate again in winter. We also recommend packing the sledge, which will also be added to you on our bars when the snow cover falls.
