Everyone will find a place for themselves on 6 hectares of Siedlisko Wnukowo. For those who value privacy, we have two houses towering over Lake Roś. For couples and quartets, rooms in an old Masurian guesthouse with a mirror reflecting the clouds. For those who seek taste, Natalia's brilliant cuisine, and a star from heaven for athletes. Sparring on the court, spinning on a catamaran, sprint in the Piska Forest, bike rally through asphalted villages. Parents have relative peace here, children have a slide straight into the lake, a beach with gentle descent into the water and an outdoor swimming pool when it gets warm. When the grass is covered with a thicket of white needles, it is worth lighting the fireplace, making cocoa and enjoying the quietest season in Masuria. When only yours are there.
Everyone will find a place for themselves on 6 hectares of Siedlisko Wnukowo. For those who prefer cozy rooms, we have a beachfront guesthouse, and for larger groups who value independence, there are two beautiful houses on a hill overlooking Roś Lake. In our area there is also the Hunter's House, where we have two intimate rooms for organizing trainings, occasional meetings and family celebrations.
The Blue House and the Green House stand shoulder to shoulder - each with a decorative fireplace in the living room, each with an exit to the terrace, each with a beautiful, bright interior. They are located away from the Guesthouse to provide you with more privacy, but you have a few steps further to the lake, literally a few.
The Blue House is slightly smaller than the Green House and can accommodate up to 6 people, while the Green House is designed for 8 people. There are 3 bedrooms in each house:
- master bedroom with a king-size bed and a large balcony with a beautiful view of the meadow
- the second bedroom is equipped with a comfortable queen-size bed and a wardrobe,
- the third bedroom has a pull-out couch soon converted into a bed.
The difference between the houses is that in the Green there are two full bathrooms on the first floor, and in the Blue one only one.
On the ground floor of each house there is a large space, i.e. a dining area, a relaxation area and a fireplace, a large kitchen, exit to the terrace. There is also a toilet downstairs. The houses are geothermal heated and air-conditioned in summer.
All dogs are welcome, the area is huge and fenced.
If you only have the desire and appetite, we invite you to the table. We serve breakfasts and dinners every day at the Hunter's House. The chef is Natalia, and the menu depends on the season, day and the chef's mood. Breakfasts are rich, served from 9-11 am, a buffet + a warm dish on request (scrambled eggs with chanterelles are the world championship), and dinner is a real treat: appetizer, soup, main course and dessert. Always compote and water. If you hit the pork chop day, you will not regret it.
Each house has a large, bright, fully equipped kitchen and dining room. So you can completely give up dining with us, but we do not recommend it from the bottom of our hearts, because Natalia comes back here for her kitchen.
There is a barbecue on the terrace of each house, but you can also organize a dinner with a lake view in a wooden shelter with a fireplace and tables. In Pisz, 10 km away, you can buy ingredients for the grill.
If you do not plan to eat with us every day, there are many restaurants in the area that are really worth recommending.
What are you going to do today, do when you like it. The to-do list can be arranged in any order, and translating something into tomorrow is basically giving yourself pleasure. So you can choke on Masuria once and for all, and you can enjoy the bite. There are several points to check off: coffee on a deckchair with a view of the lake, three steps to the habitat - private beach, a break for a book in a hammock, a walk along dirt roads to the forest, spontaneous mushroom picking or pedaling in a bicycle on the water. For a change, you can also soak up vitamin D on beach loungers with the accompaniment of birds (we have over 40 booths in our area). Those who do not like or are afraid of open water will be able to cool down in the swimming pool. If passive rest is an oxymoron for you, we still have a few tricks up our sleeve. You can practice service ace, e.g. on our tennis court, so pack your equipment and get your partner sparring.
If you prefer spinning instead of sparring, no problem. Our Roś lake is one of the cleanest in Masuria, so the fish breathe fully in this water. From the pier, you can cast a fishing rod for pike, perch, bream, asp and lines. There is also a catamaran that you can use to set out in search of fry. Remember that you need a permit to fish, which can be purchased in Pisz at the ARA store. The permit costs PLN 75 for 3 days.
We are waiting for you with bikes and brilliant paths - through field paths, country roads, asphalt, Puszcza Piska. We recommend going in search of lakes hidden in forests or wandering around small Masurian villages, in Szczechy Małe there is an asphalt road that leads through the forest and surrounding villages. And when a bicycle is not enough, you can easily practice triathlon with us (we recommend the Piska Forest for running, and our Roś Lake for swimming), roller-skating, canoeing (canoeing on site) or sea sailing. If you haven't tried to keep your balance on the SUP board yet, this is an opportunity, and for advanced people we recommend SUP yoga.
There is a high risk that you will want to explore the area only when you come to us for the first time.
It is absolutely worth going on a trip on the local Amazon, i.e. the beautiful Krutynia River (to avoid crowds, choose dates in the middle of the week and preferably outside the period of school holidays). You can drive up to the Bear's Horn, see the enormity of Lake Śniardwy, see the beautiful village of Gałkowo, eat a delicious dinner at the Potocki Restaurant and stroke the horses, and then return to the habitat at sunset.
What’s there for children?
Two words are enough: water and sand. It is the key to success that opens all children's doors and doors. We have a private beach with soft sand and a gentle descent into the water, a slide straight to the lake, water equipment available on site, such as a bicycle or SUP, a pier, hectares of grass for running out and picnicking. There is a swimming pool a bit more controlled (the outdoor pool is open from April to October) and even our own tennis court. As you can see, it's relaxing here on the move, so bring sports clothes, balls, rackets, inflatable water toys, bicycles, scooters and kites. It will be happening.
