We found a place where you can completely relax. We won't be woken up by children's crying, or trip over scattered toys - only adults are allowed. Therefore, you can take care of yourself and drink wine late. Adventurers, lovers of acidified muscles and burnt noses will find their place here. We welcome refugees from the city chaos, although we are not on the sidelines. We are close to both mountain trails, the forest and restaurants. Do we feel like donuts in butter. Yes. Because the name of the navel of the world is Karpacz.
If you think that you will find peace in the closeness of nature - you could not find better. We have prepared mountain trails, ski slopes and cross-country tracks for you. Or maybe you want to take a day of lazy and dig yourself out of the bedding at noon? For this occasion, we have already painted the grass in the garden and stretched our hammocks between the trees. And breakfast eaten in pajamas on the balcony tastes like no other. Make yourself at home! And even better!
🌲Our HOUSE is a place for adults and young people from 13 years of age. 🌲We offer 10 rooms: 2, 3 and 4 people with bathrooms (including: shower, towels and hair dryer) and wooden balconies. All rooms are equipped with anti-allergic bedding, TV and basic furniture - wardrobes and bedside tables. Our largest room (for 4 people) has a large mezzanine, where two people can sleep. The maximum capacity of the house is 26 people. 🌲 The entire ground floor is occupied by a common space: a large kitchen, dining room and lounge area. Downstairs we also have a reception and a room for sports equipment. 🌲Our DOM resembles a high-standard hostel - upstairs you can count on privacy, while in the common area you can integrate, cook together, watch movies, drink wine, practice yoga or invite someone to play board games. 🌲We are located in the center of Karpacz, in a quiet area, but close to the center and main attractions. We are pleased with the large, green garden with old trees, where we organize picnics, sunbathing and swinging in a hammock, and the gazebo where we organize barbecues. 🌲Take a look at our website www.domgorylas.pl - everything is described there in detail. 🌲
🌲And what do you feel like today? Nothing tastes as good as a meal prepared together in pleasant natural surroundings. A large, well-equipped kitchen supports your culinary experiments. Each room has assigned cabinets for food products in the kitchen. 🌲If you don't feel like cooking on vacation, you can always order food delivery from one of our friendly (and proven!) restaurants. 🌲There are many places in Karpacz where you can go and feast to your heart's content, choosing the cuisine you fancy. 🌲
For shopping for local, ecological delicacies, we recommend going a little further - to Jelenia Góra for the Saturday market "Targ Rolny Górskie Smaki". There is plenty to choose from.
🌲We won't lie! We envy ourselves for living in the Karkonosze Mountains! In the mountainous region, the main attraction is mountain trail walks and all kinds of climbing. But in Karpacz, all kinds of sports events are organized (marathons, cycling races), which are worth taking part in, or at least cheering on - emotions guaranteed! It is worth taking bikes, skis (including cross-country skis!) or Nordic walking poles - depending on the season, all kinds of sports equipment will come in handy here. 🌲Only 1 km separates DOM GÓRY LAS from the mountain trail that leads straight to Śnieżka. You can do without duplicating the trails and make a loop - take the red trail through Kocioł Łomniczki and go down the black trail through Sowia Przełęcz. Or vice versa. We recommend a trip through Kocioł Łomniczki to people who are in good shape. For less experienced people, there are several options for choosing an easier route. You can set off to Śnieżka starting at the Wang Temple (5 km from us - it is best to get there by car, bus or in the season - private buses). 🌲 1.5 km from us begins this more wild and less frequented part of the Karkonosze. Krucze Skały - a brilliant viewpoint and great climbing routes. It is worth going to the Skalny Stół, visiting the former settlement of Budniki (a special place, because the sun does not reach here for 113 days a year!) and reaching the Okraj Pass (there you can visit the beautiful Czech town of Mała Upa). 🌲 Remaining on the subject of mountains, it is worth going to Karpatka (the green trail from the Dam on Łomnica).
If you don't want to overdo it, we suggest a 1.5-hour walk starting from us to the Chapel of St. Anne in Sosnówka and to the Samotnia shelter (you should drive to the area of the Wang Church and from there you will have to walk for about 90 minutes along a mountain, cobblestone road to the shelter). 🌲 In Szklarska Poręba there is an interesting "stone trail", where the route is marked by beautiful, carved stones and old pyrite mines. An absolute must-see in the area is the Kamieńczyk Waterfall (it appeared in the film "The Chronicles of Narnia" - it's so fairytale-like here).
If you need a slightly different experience, it is worth taking a trip along the Underground Tourist Routes "Kowary Adits" inside the Sulica mountain. In Kowary there is also the Museum of Sentiments and the Park of Miniature Monuments of Lower Silesia. 🌲 In Piechowice, in turn, the Julia Glassworks invites you for a trip, where you can see with your own eyes how miracles are created from glass, similarly in the Leśna Glassworks in Szklarska Poręba.
History lovers may be interested in the Lost Hitler's Laboratory located in Kamienna Góra or the Walońska Cottage in Szklarska Poręba. An interesting point on the map of Karpacz is the Multimedia Museum of the Karkonosze Mountains, the Wang Church (an 800-year-old Norwegian temple). In addition, Karpacz hosts chamber outdoor concerts, in Jelenia Góra you can go to the antiques market or admire the performances of the Street Theatres or go to the Jazz Festival. In Miedzianka, the already famous Miedzianka Fest (festival of reportage) takes place, and in Borowice, chamber concerts "Guitar and...". 🌲Be sure to check the calendar of events before coming to us. 🌲And at home we have books that you can drown in for long hours (we recommend lying on a blanket in the garden or in a hammock) and board games. And finally, we also have TVs, a collection of DVDs and WIFI - you won't die of boredom even in bad weather.
What’s there for children?
🌲We focused on creating an oasis of peace and a place where you can rest and focus on relaxation - that's why we invite everyone over 13 years of age. We invite younger mountain lovers in a few years!
What’s there for employees?
🌲At workation, in addition to good internet, a piece of table and chair and beautiful views, what counts is rest from household duties. Our guests can use the common space where up to eighteen people can work on comfortable sofas, at separate tables. This is a place connected to the kitchen and available to all guests. The facility is intended only for adults, so you don't have to worry about scattered blocks and shouting interfering with your work duties.
