Don't be confused by the sign with the crossed out inscription: Hoszowczyk, keep going. One house stands right next to the Great Bieszczady Loop, at the foot of the Żuków range. Physicists might say that he is like Schrödinger's cat: at the same time he is in Hoszowczyk and not in it. And we will tell you that it basically says a lot about our agritourism. Because we are actually suspended between villages, closer to meadows and forests, without neighbors, in a remote area.
And we got here like this: we traveled around the world and around Poland, we already had various infatuations. In Masuria Garbate. In the Pieniny Mountains and in the Stołowe Mountains. But suddenly we found ourselves landing in the Bieszczady Mountains every year. And so a few years later - we know it may sound kitschy, but it was - we are sitting on our terrace and Marek says: "remember, we once came here on bikes and you liked the sunset so much. It was here." Then he promised that one day we would watch such sunsets with a glass of wine. We invite you to the terrace, we have not seen any better.
Our agritourism is located on a side road, reflecting off the Great Bieszczady Loop. We have over 4 hectares of unfenced land. There are 8 guest rooms in the house, decorated in the same style, although slightly different from each other. Each of them is spacious and has its own bathroom with a shower. They are all upstairs. On the ground floor, there is a common area, which can be divided into 3 zones:
- the first, which can be called tea and coffee, is a place where you will find cupboards full of dishes of all sizes, and a lot of teas, coffees and herbs. Here you can make yourself something warm to drink at any time of the day or night, or find a glass for wine or tinctures.
- next is the dining room where we serve breakfasts and dinners. Here you can also play board games comfortably.
- the third zone is a lounge with sofas and armchairs. There you will find all kinds of games, crayons for children and books. There is no TV.
The common space can be arranged, as requested by the organizer, to conduct workshops, trainings, presentations, etc.
In front of the house we have a large terrace with deckchairs, tables and a metal bed, which is liked by the guests. And then there is a meadow, a place for a bonfire under the stars, and a little further, a softly murmuring stream.
We have a very good internet (optical fiber) - if you need to work from the quiet of Bieszczady, there will be no technical problems here.
We have a homely home cooking. You can always eat pizza or Chinese food in a pub, which is why we focus on Polish cuisine with regional accents. For dinner, you can have dumplings, dumplings, dumplings or hryczanyki, i.e. meat and buckwheat cutlets in mushroom sauce. But this is only the beginning of a very long list of our culinary ideas :) The second course is always preceded by home-made soup. And finally, of course, the dessert, served after dinner or placed on the sideboard - to help yourself.
For breakfast, we serve a large selection of products from local producers. We make the cheese ourselves (with cumin or sun-dried tomatoes) and bake proziaki, i.e. rolls with the addition of soda. For this we serve herbal garlic butter. Scrambled eggs, fruit omelets, pancakes with blueberry sauce or sausages are served hot. You can also count on salads and pastes, which we also prepare ourselves. We have fresh cold cuts from a reliable supplier. Every day the buffet is different, we make sure that it is colorful and interesting.
On the ground floor in the lounge, you can enjoy drinks all the time: teas, our herbs and coffees (they are also soluble and decaffeinated), water with mint and lemon. You will also find dishes, cups, glasses and corkscrews there. Usually we also have seasonal fruit that you can eat during the day.
If you are vegan or vegan - let us know in advance. We usually serve something in both options for breakfast.
Meal times are more or less fixed, but our place is relaxed - you can call us and let us know that you want to eat earlier / later.
We create a place where everyone rests in their own way and - with respect for other guests and residents - does what in his / her opinion best serves full relaxation. There is no spin. The terrace is equipped with tables, loungers, and even a metal bed and a basket with blankets - for cooler evenings. So you can do yoga, make a fire with singing, take a deckchair to the meadow and spend half a day with your nose in a book. You can take a walk by the stream or take binoculars (we can borrow it) and observe the animals (there is a refuge in our area, so the sight of deer or roe deer is not uncommon).
In the salon you will find various offers from local tourist offices (a lot of one-day trips), maps, guides and publications about the Bieszczady Mountains. Feel free to use them. We ourselves will be happy to advise you and help you plan smaller and larger trips.
To get you started, we suggest three important things about our neighborhood:
- from the very house you can reach Holica, along the Żuków Range, which has recently been led by the trail from our agritourism. It takes about 2 hours to go up one way. It is not a popular route and you can usually enjoy peace and quiet, which are already rare on the more popular trails in Bieszczady.
- you can also go to Gromadzyń, one of the peaks of the Ustrzyckie Mountains Crown.
- the communal bicycle trail (blue) runs through Hoszowczyk, which leads through the vicinity of Ustrzyki Dolne. There are also many other interesting cycling routes in the area. Take your bikes if you can. We have 3 on site that we can borrow.
- on summer days, you can go to the beach on Lake Solina - the closest is about 18 km from the house.
What’s there for children?
We have a huge meadow as a playground. On it you can run, play and watch the animals as much as you like. The latter is extremely easy and satisfying here - you can look for deer, deer and birds, and closer to the ground level: shrews and voles. We have binoculars, so larger animals can be observed very closely.
The rest is up to the children's imagination. There are no slides here, but in winter you slide down on hay bags. There is no pool, but there is a stream nearby that you can walk with your parents. There are no toys at home, but there are crayons, board games and books - in case of bad weather.
