Przylesie is a housing estate that was built in the 1980s in the suburb of Jenina. Though perhaps the term "pre-village" would be more appropriate than the suburb. Suffice it to say that no more than 2,000 people live in Jenin.
There used to be a brickyard here, from which bricks were sent to rebuild Warsaw after the war. When the brickyard was closed, an estate was created, the creators of which took the words of Jonasz Kofta to heart - they remembered about the gardens. In those days, the developer also envisaged the presence of open space in architectural designs. So although the houses are close together, each of them has a large garden. It is intimate and green, and outside the gate - a forest.
We invite you to Przylesie, to see our piece of the Lubuskie Lake District. Our repertoire includes lakes, ravines and rivers, canoes and bicycles, and close encounters with forest neighbors.
Our house is located on the estate road at the end of Jenin, right next to the forest. The duplex apartment is located in the attic and has a separate entrance. Inside, on the first level, we have arranged a bedroom with a double bed, and then a kitchen. Steps lead to a lounge with sofa bed and TV. On the same level you will find a second bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
We have arranged the interiors of the apartment so that you can relax in them. They are full of objects that are the work of our hands: our photos of nature hang on the walls, the flowers are fed with home-made compost, and the furniture is made by us or recycled.
Behind the house we have a garden with a hammock, sun loungers and lots of space to rest. Directly from the garden you can go out to the forest.
The apartment has a compact kitchen with all the utensils and utensils you may need during your vacation. In addition to cooking on site, you can always use the option of a barbecue or a bonfire in the garden or go to one of the pubs recommended by us - below you will find a few addresses.
Additionally - if you have a desire for local products - we will tell you what good local hosts have to sell upon arrival. Maybe you will decide on country eggs, home-made cottage cheese or real butter with fresh bread.
On site you can enjoy the goodness of the garden: treat yourself to a siesta in a hammock, sunbathe on a deckchair or make a bonfire with sausages. We also have good news for those who like yoga - Kamila is an instructor, so you can arrange individual classes with her on the green grass. At the end of the garden you will find a gate to the forest - behind it there is a wild adventure path with surprises (wear good shoes: you will have to climb a bit) and lots of routes for walking or jogging.
Jenin is situated at the foot of a glacial moraine, which forms a highland throughout the commune. Thanks to this, there are many interesting areas near the apartment with bicycle routes (including MTB) and tourist routes. If you are MTB enthusiasts, we invite you with bikes - we will be happy to show you where to ride.
We also recommend several other natural attractions in the area:
- an observation tower and an educational path near the Morenowy Las and Bogdanieckie Grady nature reserves (about 7 km from the apartment),
- a bicycle path along the Warta River. It is a picturesque route where you can meet various species of animals and plants. You have to go to Jasiniec (on the Warta River), and then to the right, along the river line, to Świerkocin, where you have to turn right again and make a loop to Przylesie. We have two bikes for you on site, so you don't have to take yours. We'll take care of more if necessary.
- The Żubrow Ravine, a postglacial gorge located next to the village of Żubrów. You can get there from Przylesie in about 40 minutes. The red trail leading through the forest leads to the gorge. We recommend you to take a longer trip here - the trail continues to the arch along the former Międzyrzecz - Rzepin railway line and a beautiful pond. The red trail is not the only interesting option in this area - it is also black and blue. You can reach the wild beaches on Lake Lubniewo.
- the "Olszynka" nature trail in the Warta Mouth National Park. The path takes the form of a 3-kilometer loop, leading through marshy meadows and rushes (there is a wooden footbridge). There are 15 stops along the way with information boards about the surrounding nature.
- a day in a kayak! You can rent kayaks from a local company and choose one of two routes: 1. Lake Mrowinko (city beach) - Lake Lubie - Lake Mrowinko. It takes about 2-3 hours to sail it. If you are interested in this option, let me know in advance. Or: 2. Stary Dworek - Skwierzyna. It takes about 4 hours here. The Obra is a river that guarantees very diverse views, from gentle meadows and lakes to steep walls towering over the stream. You can decide on this route when you are there - it does not require much preparation.
These are not all surprises in the area - we reveal some secrets only on the spot :)
Children are invited to the secret garden. There is a pond inhabited by turtles, there are two swings, and in search of a third - located in the forest - you have to go through the door to the forest. We also have balls, badminton equipment and bicycles.
If you are coming with small children, remember that the apartment has stairs without barriers - it's good to keep an eye on the little ones.
Give up your company desk for a while and replace it with a comfortable sofa, a green garden and bicycle trips. In Przylesie 12 you will find a table with 4 chairs and a table with 2 chairs in the kitchen, where you will be able to freely perform your daily tasks. After work, you will have to decide whether you want to laze in a hammock with a book or spend an active day in a kayak.
