Although we are not from here, we have put down roots here, overgrown with moss and grown into the landscape of the Jizera Mountains. We already know that when the Mist Mountain gives birth to fog, there is a change in the weather. They go down to the very house and then we have the impression that we are walking on clouds. We believe that magic happens in the nearby Witches' Glade on Walpurgis Night and we know the local legends. When we sit in the garden, by the roaring stream, we feel like the Incas in Machu Picchu. We learn white singing in the Valley of Harmony, we watch the process of creating ceramics, we go for walks in Jakuszyce, we pick mushrooms on Kozia Szyja, we ride bicycles, we hear when the neighbor's cows come back from the pasture and when our hens wake up - stupid.
Welcome to Kopaniec, a settlement of contemporary artists, where houses have a log construction, barns have an avalanche of history, and passes hide the secrets of Slavic cults. We will host you in our barn, a bit of a palace, a bit of a country cottage, we will serve breakfast spiced with nigella, nettle soup, African stew, power balls, all without meat and lots of herbs. We will tell you where to go for drumming workshops, where to learn ceramic mosaic, and where to create stained glass windows, we will tell you about the Bóbr Valley and give you peace of mind. Take cross-country skis, because you can go on a route from the house. The beaten path to the red door awaits.

The flood did not affect us or the area to a large extent. We are waiting for guests!
I first came to Izery in 1998 and I was lost. I fell in love with both the Jizera and the Bóbr Valley, with their secrets and legends, with old castles, manors and people who are quite crazy here. After all, 12 years ago, my husband and I bought a nearly 200-year-old stone house with a half-timbered wall on the first floor and a barn. There was no electricity, the buildings were falling apart, but this climate stole our hearts. The renovation lasted 4 years, and when it turned out that I could no longer practice my profession, the decision to change my life in Warsaw to that in the countryside was inevitable. It was great that our children were changing institutions: kindergarten to school and elementary school at junior high school. Then there was no more advice - we became full-fledged Izerbaijans. As a snowboard instructor, Radek changed Górka Szczęśliwicka to the Karkonosze slopes, and I started to fulfill myself in the garden and in veg cooking, and recently in growing happy hens. It is with great pleasure that we will share our barn with you, we will entertain you with food and stories from the region. Those about witches, about open coffins on castles, about old stoves, about tunnels, about half-timbered houses. We invite you to the Mountain of Mists, this is where magic really happens.
